Visita gli splendidi paesaggi naturali delle Grandi montagne caucasiche sulla cosiddetta via militare georgiana verso la Russia. Durante il tour visiterai l'edificio del 17° secolo, la fortezza di Ananuri, la diga di Jinvali, il monumento dell'amicizia di Gudauri e la chiesa della Trinità di Gergeti nel villaggio di Kazbegi/Stepantsminda. Il viaggio da Tbilisi a Kazbegi può durare dalle 3 alle 5 ore con diverse soste in luoghi diversi per scattare foto o semplicemente per camminare, riposarsi o rilassarsi sul lago Jinvali, sul fiume Aragvi, sui monti Gudauri o su qualsiasi altro posto che vorresti vedere o scattare fotografie. Durante il tour puoi pranzare o cenare in un ristorante a conduzione familiare georgiano locale. Il costo del ristorante, il noleggio del cavallo e della jeep locale non sono compresi nel prezzo del tour. Si prega di notare che la strada da Gudauri a Kazbegi è talvolta chiusa in inverno a causa della forte nevicata. Quindi potrebbe essere impossibile visitare il giorno dei tour del villaggio Kazbegi.

Itinerario
La nostra prima tappa sarà alla diga di Jinval per scattare foto. La diga di Jinvali è stata costruita negli anni '70 in epoca sovietica per la povertà idroelettrica. Il nome della diga deriva dalla città che si trovava poco prima della diga. Ora questa città è sott'acqua e i turisti la chiamano anche città sottomarina. Era una città antica, bellissima, piena di siti archeologici e manufatti che ora sono sott'acqua. Alla popolazione locale furono date le case per vivere non lontano dalla diga. Il livello della diga aumenta in estate nella stagione delle piogge e si riduce in inverno nella stagione secca. Di questa città è conservata solo una fortezza perché si trova in un luogo più alto, sulla collina. La nostra prossima tappa sarà la fortezza di Ananuri.
La Fortezza di Ananuri è una fortezza di epoca medievale del XIII secolo. Fu costruito per proteggere la città di Jincali dai nemici e chiudere le strade verso le montagne. Ha alte mura e torri per i combattimenti e una torre residenziale. C'è anche una chiesa nella fortezza intitolata a Saint-George. San Giorgio era protettore degli eserciti, delle fortezze e delle città georgiane.
A Gudauri ci fermiamo per scattare foto al monumento dell'amicizia di Gudauri. In realtà è vicino a Gudauri. Il monumento dell'amicizia di Gudauri, chiamato anche monumento panoramico, fu costruito nel 1083 in epoca sovietica per ricordare l'amicizia di 200 anni tra il popolo georgiano e quello russo. La storia della Georgia e della Russia è dipinta sul muro. 200 anni fa fu stipulato un accordo di amicizia e cooperazione tra i re georgiani e russi, chiamato anche accordo di protettorato, ma dopo la morte dell'ultimo re georgiano, i russi abolirono il regno in Georgia e i governatori russi governarono la Georgia fino alle rivoluzioni socialiste russe, fino all'arrivo al potere dei comunisti. Quindi questo monumento ricorda 200 anni di relazione tra Georgia e Russia, realizzato in stile propagandistico dell'epoca sovietica.
Una volta arrivati al villaggio di Stepantsminda, i turisti possono scegliere se fare un'escursione alla Chiesa della Trinità di Gergeti o noleggiare una jeep locale per raggiungere la chiesa sulla collina di Gergeti. La chiesa di Gergeti fu costruita nel XIV secolo, in epoca rinascimentale. In realtà era un periodo in cui i mongoli occupavano la capitale Tbilisi e la gente correva verso le montagne per scappare. Questa volta i georgiani costruirono le chiese sulle montagne. C'è una vista fantastica dalla chiesa di Gergeti al villaggio Stepantsminda e al monte Kazbegi. Tieni presente che abbiamo bisogno di una jeep locale in primavera quando c'è neve in montagna. In inverno la strada è talvolta chiusa a tutte le auto, a causa della neve. La tariffa per il noleggio di una jeep non è inclusa nel prezzo del tour. In estate e in autunno non è necessario noleggiare una Jeep, poiché le strade sono pulite dalla neve e aperte a tutte le auto.

In questo caso, se hai prenotato un hotel a Stepantsminda, ti preghiamo di avere un hotel alternativo a Gudauri o Tbilisi in questo caso. La strada da Stepantsminda a Gergeti potrebbe anche essere chiusa a causa della neve e impossibile da visitare.

We decided to do a day tour to easter Georgia - Anauri and Gadauri because we wanted to suprise our step son's girlfriend with a marriage proposal. I have to say that none of this would have been possible without George our guide. He helped us with everything and even became our photographer. He became part of the family. We just got back from an incredible trip to Georgia But as my children say Georgia was incredible but George was even greater. From the minute we landed until after we landed back home (when he checked in to make sure we arrived safely) he was so kind to us- he actually became part of the family he is so kind sensitive nice and insightful our trip was the most amazing ever all in his credit! His knowledge of the country with his wisdom to figure us out and understand what the needs and likes of our family and create and change the itinerary to make sure all of us are having the best time was so special we had some personnel special needs which he took care, watched our baby (who didn't want to leave him) took photos for us were ever we went and kept us entertained for all the hour we were in the car George is one of the nicest people i have met and highly recommend anyone that is thinking about going to Georgia to hire him We cant wait to come again

Tour of Tbilisi was special to us personally. Thanks to George that he made the tour memorable for us. Adding to the beauty of Georgia, he took special attention that we along with kids enjoyed every moment of the tour and took extra care about our visit. The tour was well planned that we covered the best of 4 days visiting Tbilisi City, Jvari Monastery, Gudauri, Mtskheta, Gori, Uplistikhe. It was an awesome 3 full-day trip outside Tbilisi with friends and the helpful guide, George. He is well informed about his country may it be religion, history etc but just do not ask him about flowers. Lol. He would also go beyond his duty as a tour guide by physically assisting you while going up or down or just crossing. We were a group of 5 women and he helped us all. And for that, I highly recommend him, if you are looking for a knowledgeable tourist guide. He also speaks english well, hospitable and recommends great places. Thank you, George. Started with the cableway to view from top old historical places, walk high staircases to get on top to view the waterfall. View the bridge from lovers which lock their locks and throw the keys in the river. To seal their Love for each other. Tasted blue warm wine. Bought lots of little Georgian fridge magnets, keyrings at the little kiosks....

<p>The couple that took us on this tour were lovely and very informative. We could stop wherever we wanted to stop. It was a 12 hour round trip but well worth especially the 4 wheel drive up the mountain to see Kazbegi monastery. They were a couple to travel with.</p>
