Escursione a terra di mezza giornata a Monreale e Cefalù

The excursion was merely a driver who took us to Monreale and stopped outside the cathedral and told us what time we needed to get back to the vehicle. Similar approach at Cefalù. No key information or guidance about what we should see was provided at either site. Excursion should have been described as transportation

Hidden gem in Sicily. Calm, turquoise water, less crowded coastall town, streets lined with shops and restaurant. Ricardo is a patient, considerate and kind guide and a driver.

This is only for transportation to Monreale and Cefalu, and was good for that. The towns are beautiful. I have been on this kind of "tour" previously and had a great driver that spoke in English and gave history of the area and talked to everyone in the van. That didn't happen on this "tour". The driver was more interested in the pretty girl in the front seat and speaking Italian with two other women in the van. Mostly, ignoring the three other English speakers plus myself. He came off as though his English was terrible, when confirming time and spot to meet back at the van in each town. When it was time to head back to Palermo, his English skills became great as he was trying to get you to book airport transfers with him or other tours. It would have been better had there been a language option like so many other tours on Viator.

Perfect outing. Stop to take pictures. Cefalus is a beautiful place. With a very busy center. Restaurants, stores that offer tourists good shopping opportunities. The thing in Monreale was also very worthwhile. Beautiful cathedral. Very good trade, especially for those interested in acquiring ceramic and mosaic objects. I would like to thank the professional who accompanied us: Mario, who guided with great competence and seriousness. It really is a tour worth it.

Our smart, knowledgable and polite driver Salvatore was amazing, and went out of his way to ensure his guests had the best out of their day. The half day trip was fantastic the church at Monreale was breathtaking and the village of Cefalu was definitely worth the visit. Would have liked a bit more time at both but a nice taster.

The site visit was good. But the diver didn’t speak English, he didn’t even introduce himself. The car had no air in the back row because it is dysfunctional. We sat in the back row the whole time. Also, the driver played loud Italian radio that no customers understood. I had to remind him twice to turn down the volume.

The driver was very polite and friendly. This tour is pretty much just transport to both locations with free time to explore the areas which was great for me since I am very independent.

They are very good at getting everyone organized and ready to go. Our driver was excellent and personable. You will be dropped off within feet of your attraction. Pick up times are made very clear at each destination. End drop off, same as start.

Great to visit the different towns and see the amazing churches. Marco was very helpful and looked after us very well.
