Itinerario

We booked Robin specifically because of his reviews, but the night before our tour he contacted us to say he had experienced a medical emergency and would be unable to guide us. To his credit, he did offer us the option to cancel or continue with a replacement. His replacement was "his partner" who he raved about. Since we were on a cruise and only had one day in port, rescheduling wasn't really possible, so we continued with the replacement guide and his partner Guy. Guy was knowledgeable and took us to all of the places we had requested. He also stayed beyond the scheduled tour time to take us to a wine shop after we mentioned we planned to take a taxi back to port, which we appreciated. One thing that surprised us was the transportation style. Rather than dropping us off near the sites and meeting us after parking the vehicle, we typically parked in parking garages and walked some distance to and from each location. This may simply be the normal practice in the area, but it was different from our experiences with private guides elsewhere. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of engagement with our family. We found him to be very reserved and not particularly personable. Throughout the approximately eight hours we spent together, there was virtually no conversation beyond providing information about the sites. He never asked where we were from, how our trip had been, or engaged in any of the small talk that typically helps make a private tour feel personal. He never asked our children's names and never spoke directly to our younger child at all. Because of the limited interaction, the experience felt more transactional than welcoming. Families looking for a warm, interactive experience may prefer a guide whose style is more engaging. I think Guy would probably be a better fit for adults who primarily want transportation and information. Families with children looking for a warm, interactive guide may want to look elsewhere.
Amazing day! Easy to find, comfortable van, saw all the sights and very knowledgeable. Will def come back and visit with them!
If I ever make it back to the south of France, I would definitely book again with Robin. We were on a Mediterranean Cruise and Cannes was one of our port stops. Robin was at the port ready to greet us. It was my favorite excursion of the whole trip. He took us Nice, Ez, Monaco and stopped at the most picturesque spots for great instagram worthy pics. The love and knowledge of his country made the tour informative and aspiring. Robin was like a friend showing me and my family around his home county. So if you want to see the French Riviera, you won't be disappointed if you go with NICE IMMERSION .
10/10 Omg what an amazing experience wealth of knowledge of the area , secret location for great photo opportunities . Adaptable for our requirements anything we needed was happy to switch around to suit our needs. Robin was so easy to talk to and we enjoyed his tour very much. We traveled with our 20 year-old and 23-year-old daughters.
Robin was an excellent guide. From the moment I booked, his communication was excellent as he confirmed pick up location. He was punctual, the car was clean and very suitable as a tour vehicle. Robin was very personable, approachable and knowledgeable about Nice and surrounding areas. His English was also excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and the tour could be changed to suit our needs. He also was tuned in to the locations for taking photos of some beautiful places - which made a wonderful memory of the day. Was a fantastic day - I rate Robin very highly as a tour guide.
Robin was absolutely wonderful. Of all of the tours we took on our 12-day trip, his was the most informative, as he is a native of Nice. He knew all of the best spots and seemed to be well-respected by other people in the touring community. He gave our group options based on our ship's departure time and the group's interests. I never really felt rushed like I did on some other tours. I would highly recommend Robin and this tour to anyone visiting the area.
An absolute must do, especially if you are on a shore excursion! I booked through a company that Nice Immersion (Robin) is affiliated with but if I had known I could just go right to him and cut the middle man, I would. Robin, who owns Nice Immersion, was absolutely incredible. He was punctual to the port and arranged an amazing trip, constantly modifying as needed for traffic (but delivered everything as promised!). He is born and raised in Nice, knows all the shortcuts and the hidden gems (a hike that overlooked the beautiful areas of Nice and Monaco). His English was phenomenal and he never stopped educating us on the culture, the history, and everything else that Nice has to offer. Additionally his vehicle was comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a semi private (8 person max) tour of Nice, look no further than Robin at Nice Immersion!
This tour was above amazing! Robin was born and raised in Nice and has such a passion for his birthplace! He is very knowledgeable and extremely bright(he speaks numerous languages) Robin tailored the tour to us as we had visited years ago and he showed us places we had not been to in the past. He knew the perfect places for gorgeous photo ops. We cannot recommend Robin more highly and he will be our guide if we return!!
My wife and I were on our honeymoon and this was one of the most memorable days of the entire trip! it is the best excursion I’ve ever been on. Robin will take you to the most incredible places while explaining the history of the city. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore Nice and Monaco!
