It was a great experience. Kariuki explained the history and culture of Mombasa to us through Fort Jesus, and we absolutely loved it. He also showed us the streets and hidden corners of Mombasa, where we got to see the spice market, among other things. We also bought some really good coffee at a very good price. Thank you!
Really good experience! We had a small group so very tailored tour. We were able to ask a lot of questions and the guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We even got to try spices and snacks at the market. Would definitely recommend!
Great experience, historical things to know, the guide was good. I recommend it to understand the origins and history of Mombasa.
As a Kenyan, I learned so much about Fort Jesus and Old Town Mombasa that I didn’t know. The walk was interesting and ranged from the fort to the market to the park and more. Kariuki is patient, curious and generous with his knowledge. My favorites were the spice market and bat spotting. I’d recommend this tour any time and plan to do it again.
