La giornata inizia con il check-in - 8h30 presso i nostri uffici sul lungomare di Walvis Bay - per iniziare la Marine Dolphin Cruise alle 9h00. Riceverai una carta d'imbarco e tutte le barche partiranno dal molo Waterfront (di fronte al nostro ufficio). La Marine Dolphin Cruise procede attraverso l'area della laguna, allevamenti di ostriche fino a Pelican Point. Qui sarete accolti dall'incredibile colonia di foche da pelliccia di 70.000 e oltre e dal famoso faro di Pelican Point. Durante le nostre guide informative ti intratterranno in inglese, afrikaans, olandese e tedesco. Gli avvistamenti comuni includono tursiopi e delfini, foche del capo, fenicotteri, pellicani, mola molas, pinguini e megattere e balene australi (agosto-novembre). La crociera di ritorno al Waterfront includerà un pranzo leggero, ostriche fresche di Walvis Bay, spumante, bevande e acqua in bottiglia. Dopo lo sbarco da The Marine Dolphin Cruise gli ospiti di solito hanno circa 20 minuti di pausa prima della partenza del 4 × 4.
Il viaggio verso Sandwich Harbour inizia con una sosta alla laguna di Walvis Bay per vedere i fenicotteri e poi prosegue verso il delta del fiume Kuiseb attraverso le saline di Walvis Bay. La Laguna di Sandwich Harbour, e le sue ricche zone umide, è un sito di Ramsar (uno dei cinque in Namibia) e cerchiamo sempre di raggiungerla tramite la spiaggia. Ci sono varie soste e ampie possibilità per alcune foto mozzafiato. Una delle tappe include anche alcuni snack leggeri, dolci fatti in casa, bevande e spumante. Alcuni avvistamenti comuni includono animali che si sono adattati al deserto come lo sciacallo dalla schiena nera, lo scarafaggio che si crogiola nella nebbia, il ragno danzante ("signora bianca del Namib"), la talpa dorata, lo Springbok, l'Orice, lo struzzo, la iena marrone e il geco. La laguna e le saline ospitano una grande varietà di trampolieri. Questa è un'escursione di un'intera giornata e i nostri veicoli di solito tornano solo dopo le 17:30, consentendo il pieno utilizzo del tramonto dorato.

We had a blast today with Andreas! He is a great driver, very funny and a great photographer ;) We felt every bit of excitement but 110% safe on the dunes. The overal experience is amazing, the landscapes are breathtaking and, again: Andreas added to the fun. He is patient, kind and we learned a lot from him. Just wow! Our driver Glynn was amazing and very knowledgeable and funny. The dunes and the sea were awesome. Lunch was excellent. Highly recommend. We will be back!
Communication was prompt from my initial enquiry right through to final arrangements. On the day, the driver kindly waited for me when I ran late and also followed up by email. The cruise was enjoyable, with Louis being a friendly and engaging guide. The Sandwich harbour experience was amazing as well. Both meals by the shore and at Sandwich Harbour were great. A wonderful experience overall and highly recommended.

Went on lagoon cruise with Kobus and Sammy and the 4x4 dunes with Peter. Could not have asked for a better experience. The day was the best.
Amazing experience! The guides are very friendly and professional, and the views were breathtaking. It's very hard to fail with such beautiful nature! Highly recommendable! Also, Conrad is a great dune driver and a very cultured guide; we loved chatting with him!
This was a great experience! The day started with a boat tour where seal and pelican friends literally jump on the boat with you. Then you ride out to see the smelly and loud seal colony and you get some oysters and snacks/bubbly/drinks on the boat. The second part was even better in my opinion, as you explore the sand dunes by car with plenty of photo opps along the way. The tour guides were very kind and personable. It was a fun time overall!
This was such a good day. We started with the catamaran cruise and the crew (Cody, Vian and Leandri - hope I’ve remembered the names correctly!) were fantastic. We saw seals, pelicans (unexpected passengers on our boat!), humpback whales, and dolphins. They were mindful about not going too near the wild animals unlike some other chartered boats (Miandri I’m looking at you). We had amazingly fresh oysters on the way back as well. The second half of the day was the 4x4 dune ride: unfortunately can’t remember our guide’s name but he was amazing, and rode the dunes like a boss. He was very knowledgeable about the area and took us to exceptional viewpoints where we could take some amazing photos. I remember he said he was originally from north of Etosha and had come to Walvis Bay for uni. The whole day was unforgettable. The only thing that was mildly disappointing was that we were expecting a lunchtime braai which we saw from the reviews/ photos but didn’t realise that was a different tour.
Mola Mola safaris makes you live an extraordinary day and that’s no small thing! With the "navy dune day".: In the morning, boat trip with an exceptional captain and second: seals, pelicans, seagulls, dolphins. Super dedicated and invested team that prepares you in the middle of the ocean a lunch with bubbles! In the afternoon, in the process, excursion by the ocean and in the dunes: pink flamingos, climbing in the dunes, 4x4 and aperitif in the dunes with a Great Guide. The office team is also very professional and friendly (thank you for searching for my son’s “not lost” phone 😉 Large budget but equal to the services for unforgettable memories!!!!

The whole day was amazing. We spotted seals, dolphins and a waffle in the morning. Sandwich harbor was unbelievable and Peter, our driver, was the best!
