Descrizione

Orange picking along the Shimanami Kaido

This was one of my favourite experiences as I love oranges and I have never picked them before. The owners of the farm were incredibly thoughtful and thoroughly explained about the fruits available. There were three types available when we were visiting in December. My favourite was the Ishiji Mikan that we were able to try. It was so sweet and juicy! If you're a lover of fruits and want a unique day trip outside of Matsuyama: I couldn't recommend this enough!

Just awesome!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! That’s one of my favourite tours so far in Ehime, because you can experience the Ehime Mikan picking! First you go to an island while enjoy the views of the sea, fish jumping in the water, islands scattered on both sides of the bridge, then you find yourself far from crowds, in a peaceful and picturesque place surrounded by orange trees and then you get to eat all sorts of ripe oranges plus you get to get a whole bag of oranges with you! It’s such a treat! The couple who run the place is very cute, and you get an opportunity to talk to locals and get to know about their life too! It’s a bit far from Matsuyama but totally worth it!

So delicious!

Amazing! The owners of the orange farm were so lovely and friendly and the oranges were absolutely delicious! They told us all about the different varieties of oranges and it was AYCE so we we able to eat as many as we wanted as we picked them! The drive there was quite long and windy so if you're prone to car sickness you might want to have something on hand to prepare yourself, but it's a beautiful scenic drive through the islands of Ehime prefecture and absolutely worth the trip!

Orange picking!

This was a super fun trip to a family run citrus orchard. It was a bit of a long drive, but worth the time in the car for the all you can eat experience! The congenial hosts gave us instruction on picking the fruit and the different types of oranges available. All varieties were sweet and delicious, and we left with bellies full of oranges as well as a freshly picked kilo to take home!
