- L'accessibilità alle sedie a rotelle è limitata per la "passeggiata nel bush": l'uscita nella foresta avviene tramite scale. La visione del waka (canoa) avviene da una piattaforma e puoi andare a breve distanza nella foresta per vedere il vecchio pā (villaggio) e vedere la sorgente sacra sotto la foresta. Sfortunatamente, non vedrai le lucciole. (Nota: ci sono alcune superfici irregolari).

Not Value for money..The amount of money we paid for 6 people and the service we get is not worth..food was pretty basic..desserts were basic. We book for the evening for villafe expereince but it was so dark that the only thing you can see was path..
A very nice and typical experience; they came to pick us up directly at the hotel to take us to the Maori village where the warriors arrived on a canoe and performed the Haka and other traditional dances. The dinner that followed was very good. To finish, a walk to see the glowworms.
This was amazing from start to finish, the entertainment and food, the people were all amazing. A great night

Guy was an amazing host! Funnt fullah and taught us Māori words & Māori history in Rotorua. The buffet Hāngi was YUUUMMM! so much food! The Kapa Haka performance was beautiful to watch and the Māori warriors on the Waka was cool! Thanks Mitai Village Whānau
Great opportunity to learn more about Maori customs and traditions. We were a bit off-put when the leader closed out his speach on stage to make negative political statements about the ongoing Iran conflict. The Wharenui is also just a temporary [cold] shelter currently while the main facility is under repairs/renovation. Good food.
Good overview of culture. Plenty of food, was tasty. Activity finished at about 2030 but our taxi was booked for 2115 (as per the staff’s advice at the beginning when we asked) so we were waiting around for a while when everyone (even staff) had left.
A fantastic night for the whole family to learn about Maori culture and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommended 👌
