Passa anche dal Milite Ignoto Navale poi sarai di nuovo al tuo luogo di consegna.

Verrete prelevati e visiterete Fort Qaitbay. Qaitbay Fort Alexandria è infatti una delle più importanti roccaforti difensive. Non è solo in Egitto, ma anche lungo la costa del Mar Mediterraneo. Inoltre, ha formulato una parte importante del sistema di fortificazione di Alessandria. Fu nel XV secolo d.C. Qaitbay Fort Alexandria situato all'ingresso del porto orientale sul punto orientale dell'isola di Pharos. Eretto sul sito esatto del famoso Faro di Alessandria. Il Faro di Alexandria era una delle Sette Meraviglie del Mondo Antico. Il faro continuò a funzionare fino al tempo della conquista araba.
Si trova nella zona Mansheya ad Alessandria ed è stato costruito dalla comunità italiana di Alessandria come una sorta di omaggio a Khedive Ismail per il suo grande ruolo nel raggiungimento di una rinascita urbana e di sviluppo in Egitto durante il suo regno tra il 1863 d.C. e il 1879 d.C. anche come una sorta di omaggio all'Egitto per aver ospitato l'ultimo re d'Italia, Vittorio Emanuele III, dopo che lo depose e scelse Alessandria per risiedervi, e il suo disegno era simile al memoriale del Milite Ignoto in Piazza Venezia a la capitale italiana, Roma.
le catacombe di Kom El Shokafa sono il più grande cimitero romano. Nelle catacombe di Kom El Shoqafa puoi trovare manufatti di epoche diverse che sono stati mantenuti in ottime condizioni. L'anfiteatro di Alessandria fu scoperto per caso nel 1960. Quando il governo egiziano si stava preparando a costruire uno dei suoi edifici nell'area di Kom El Dekka, uno degli operai trovò una colonna solida sotto la polvere e la sabbia durante la preparazione del luogo da parte degli ingegneri. Immediatamente, una squadra di scavi si recò sul posto per esaminare ciò che era stato trovato. Il teatro romano fu una scoperta molto importante nel XX secolo. Fu dimostrato che il teatro fu costruito a partire dal IV secolo d.C. e fu utilizzato fino al VII secolo passando per l'era romana, bizantina e islamica.

Great 4,5h trip around beautiful Alexandria for all the highlights: different time-periods, different types of locations: from Roman catacomb graves and medieval fortress to the new Greek Poet Cavafis museum and the ultra modern library. Dina is a perfect guide, very knowledgeable and responsive
Period hotel with all the charm of a well-kept structure but firm in time. Excellent services, breakfast on the beautiful roof overlooking the sea and charming rooms. Very kind all the staff, always available to the customer with discretion

We booked this private tour of five of Alexandria"s highlights as it offered more of what we wanted to see and at a far lower price than anything offered by the cruise company we were travelling with (about half the price!). Communication prior to and during the tour was excellent, with Mirette staff even ringing us to make sure we had met with our guide, Haggag (we had to walk over the bridge from the cruise port to meet Haggag - about a 15 minute walk ftom the ship in total - the excursions booked through the cruise company leave from right outside the ship, but that is chaos with many vehicles being stuck in traffic jams for ages). We saw the Citadel, library, ancient roman amphitheatre, catacombs and the coptic church. Haggag was great at explaining the history behind the sights, and was able to answer all of our questions. The tour also included a private tour of the library provided by a library volunteer, Maria, who was also excellent. We never felt rushed and were able to take things at our own pace. We felt we definitely benefited from having our own guide rather than being part of a large group tour. The tour felt like real value for money and we would highly recommend it. Would not recommend trying to find your own way around Alexandria, especially if you are time limited - the roads have to be seen to be believed! So grateful for our driver for getting us round safely.

The tour included a stop at all of the important historical sites plus the library of alexandria. With the way Egyptians drive is absolutely 100% necessary to hire someone to do the driving for you around the town. This company did a good job and the driver and guide Mohammad were both excellent

We had a great tour of Alexandria with Wessam and driver . She was very clear and organized. Her experience and familiarity made the tour very easy and smooth. Our tickets were paid, and entry was basically no waiting. Her recommendation of a seafood restaurant was perfect. We chose the 4 stops, and she arranged them logistically for us. A real professional which will not disappoint!
