Itinerario
Il nostro tour parte dall'ANTICO TEATRO di Milos, situato sul lato est della stretta entrata del golfo di Milos, tra i moderni villaggi di Tripiti e Klima, guardando verso il più grande porto naturale del Mediterraneo. Più tardi, mentre passiamo vicino alla zona in cui è stata scoperta la statua VENERE DI MILOS, ora è possibile ammirare il museo del Louvre a Parigi, Francia.
Visitiamo le CATACOMBS di Milos, che sono il secondo monumento più importante di Prechristianic in tutto il mondo, seguendo quelli di Roma, per cui Milos è stata proclamata isola sacra nel 2014, rendendola un centro di pellegrinaggio mondiale e rafforzando l'immagine del nostro paese come punto focale di splendore globale e spirituale.
Visiteremo poi il FOLKLORE e il MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO nella capitale dell'isola di Plaka, per conoscere la storia e la vita tradizionale dell'isola, nonché una passeggiata per le stradine del paese con numerosi piccoli negozi, fino a MARMARA, il cortile della chiesa di Panagia Korfiatissa, godendo della vista maestosa dal punto più incredibile per scattare foto sull'isola.
Proseguiamo con una breve visita a MANDRAKIA, un pittoresco villaggio di pescatori con 2 piccoli pontili che ospitano i Milos tipici "Syrmata", colorati - edifici sotterranei - spazi in cui i pescatori tenevano le loro barche.
Sosta alle famose Sarakiniko, le bianche rocce vulcaniche scolpite dal tempo.
Poi sul lato nord dell'isola incontriamo il sito archeologico della città preistorica di FYLAKOPI, che è la città più importante del Mar Egeo preistorico, dove ci sono segni di popolazioni che vi abitarono fin dai primi giorni dell'età del bronzo (intorno 3.000 a.C.). Ci rilasseremo quindi e ci godremo una sosta a POLLONIA, la destinazione turistica più conosciuta dell'isola, che attira imbarcazioni turistiche e collega Milos con Kimolos.

The guide was local to the area who was very knowledgeable and kind. He was fluent in both English and Greek. The tour gave us a great sense of the island. The only consideration for improvement would be to advise customers of the archeological closings on the island on Tuesday’s prior to booking. We were not able to see the Catacombs, nor the Archeological Museum which was rather disappointing.
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Milos Experience on the “Archaeological and Cultural Experience” tour. Our tour guide, Nikos, was truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of the history, culture, archaeology, and traditions of Milos made the entire experience incredibly engaging and authentic. You could immediately feel his passion for the island and the pride he has in sharing its heritage with visitors. The tour itself was beautifully organized and offered a unique opportunity to discover the real Milos beyond the usual tourist attractions. Every stop had meaning, every story was fascinating, and Nikos made the island come alive through his explanations and personal insights. If you are visiting Milos and want a genuine cultural experience filled with history, local traditions, and hidden gems, this tour is an absolute must. Thank you again for such a memorable day — without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip!
Interesting tour of Milos. Visited catacombs, villages and beautiful beaches. The old stadium was amazing to see. Bakery stop was tasty.

Traveled to Milos and was greeted by Mr Michalis who was an absolute gentleman. He made us feel right at home in Milos and even gave us some advice on good restaurants to visit, where to travel on the island and was always available for any questions we had! Efharisto Mr Michalis!
Nickolas was an EXCELLENT guide. He was VERY knowledgeable about Milos. He has lived on the island for over 30 years. He was very personable. He spoke good English. His tour included some surprises. He interacted well with driver. The driver was WONDERFUL … we felt very safe. We had a short time on Milos and wanted to see as much of the island as possible. They were flexible and accommodating
I really appreciated the tour, as they took me quite last minute and made some accommodations for me being a solo traveler without a car. I explained to them everything I wanted to see and they arranged a really beautiful custom experience for me! I learned so much, my guide was so friendly, as was the driver, and I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Milos at any time of year! They were super flexible! And gave a great impression of Milos that didn’t feel overly touristic
The two tour guides were super cute and gave us really good information about the main attractions visitable by road. We lucked out and had no other groups joining us and the tour was catered to our preferences. Had a fantastic time - highly recommend!
We had the most awesome visit with a guide who was just as awesome. We got to see the catacombs, the moon rock beach and had lunch at an awesome restaurant. Can’t wait to go back to Milos in 2023.
We had a wonderful day with Christos touring the island! He was so very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the place, and very personable. We saw Catacombs, Sarakiniko, the Ancient Theater, Klima, a few other beaches, and had an awesome lunch in Pollonia right on the water. Thanks again Christos and Milos Experience.
