Itinerario
La nostra avventura inizia nel nostro centro turistico nel centro di Oslo. Da qui, saliremo sulla metropolitana e ci godremo un giro panoramico attraverso un paesaggio mozzafiato. Mentre ci lasciamo la città alle spalle, la vista sul fiordo si aprirà davanti a te, preparando il terreno per una giornata di esplorazione. Raggiungendo la stazione Frognerseteren, sarete accolti da aria fresca frizzante e viste panoramiche mozzafiato. Da qui, ci godiamo una piacevole escursione attraverso la gloriosa foresta verde, tenendo d'occhio i troll, naturalmente, e oltre misteriosi laghetti, che si dice siano abitati dalla mistica creatura Huldra.
Presto, veniamo a DNT Fuglemyrhytta - un piccolo rustico che offre un luogo accogliente per rilassarsi, magari fare uno spuntino, e godersi il panorama.
La nostra avventura continua attraverso la foresta fino al punto più spettacolare del nostro viaggio – la cima del monte Vettakollen. Da qui, potrete godervi gran parte di Oslo, il fiordo di Oslo e la sua costa serena, punteggiata da numerose piccole isole. Qui ci godremo una pausa nel cuore della natura, e un momento di "hygge" nordico, ovvero un momento di pace condiviso con buona compagnia. Niente paura, abbiamo tutto il tempo per le fotografie!
Dopo aver goduto della vista, camminiamo fino alla stazione della metropolitana e finiamo il nostro viaggio di ritorno nel centro di Oslo. Che tu sia un escursionista esperto o un appassionato di natura che desidera sperimentare la bellezza di Oslo, l'escursione Vettakollen in cima a Oslo è un'esperienza da non perdere.

Loved seeing Oslo from a different perspective by going on this hike. It was a beautiful walk, and a nice break from the hustle & bustle of the city. Miles was extremely knowledgeable & attentive to the group, and along with the other participants, created a fun group dynamic. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something active for a half day!
This was a wonderful experience. Our hike guide was Miles, who was absolutely amazing. The views were gorgeous and the hike is absolutely worth it. This was the highlight of our trip.
This was a great hike although it was too cloudy for the view. Hiking through the dense forest was outstanding. Our tour guide was excellent. She provided a great introduction to Norway and its people.
Our tour guide Miles was wonderful, he told us the history of Oslo along with Norway and was extremely knowledgeable. We were fortunate as the day we took this tour it was sunny with mild tempertures so the trail we hiked was relativly dry. Being that my wife and I are both seniors, Miles was very patient with us a we navigated the trail. We both throughly enjoyed the hike and the sites at the top were amazing. We highly recommend you consider this tour.
Wear appropriate shoes because trails can be muddy and rocky. The guide, christie was great and gave us great information
Super guide Peter took us on a beautiful walk near Oslo. An Oslo native, Peter shared his wealth of knowledge about the area, explaining the outdoors culture regarding the Norwegian Trekking Assoc. and Holmenkollbakken, the ski jump complex which was fascinating. Great views, good time, thoroughly enjoyed 5 stars for sure.

A "must-do" when you are in Oslo! Perfect way to experience the woods when time is limited. It was just a short train ride from the Central Station and we reach the starting point of our hiking trail! We will definitely join the same or other similar walking tours by "When in Norway" if we were in Oslo again. Thanks, Peter (our guide)!

Guide never showed up. Was looking forward to this hike so this was a huge disappointment. Called the number on the email was sent to VM. Emailed the address and got an OOO. They issued a refund but it doesn’t not cover the effort put in getting to the meeting spot and the disappointment to have your plans canceled. I hope they are able to organize themselves better for future clients.

Miles was a great guide! Not a tough hike at all. Good combination of trail and dirt roads. Very informative as well. I would recommend this hike to anyone.
