I really enjoyed most of the planned activities. Our tour guide Juliana really made the trip, he was top notch, if I have the opportunity to do another one of these trips with my other children I hope he is again our guide!
Great tour to include the optional boat tour. I recommend adding the boat tour for $15 as it gave a beautiful view of the shoreline and hidden caves. The tour of corfu was good and we had some time (although would have loved more) to explore and shop. We did this a a shore excursion on a recent cruise.
Our tour guide was excellent, giving us some great information of Greece. He recommended several reputable shops for us to shop at. Also some of the local history, like the Elena church & jesuit priest. He warned us of the poor quality of goods offered by the street vendors. I was advised to buy rum at the port duty free shop which I did. I would highly recommend him for future tours for vistors to the city.
This was the most expensive excursion we booked and was the least tour like. We paid $275. The bus drove us to a beach about 40-45 minutes and we had an hour of free time. There was an optional (extra $$) boat ride which we had already paid so much I was disappointed that they wanted to charge more, so we sat in the cafe for an hour doing nothing. Then the bus drove us around about the same amount of time to the old city where we could get a 20 minute tour or just have another hour+ of free time. So we ate at a cafe and chilled. The tour guide did give a little information while on the bus but I’m not sure I learned too much. Then the bus took us back to the port. It was so hot on the bus I almost threw up. Even my little fan wasn’t cutting it. Basically I could have gotten a $20 bus to old town from the port (of which there was a good offering) and saved my money. I would not go on this “best tour” again.
We regret to hear that our tour did not meet your expectations. Let me address the concerns raised: 1. The optional boat ride is clearly listed among the exclusions. 2. Usually, when guests from all over the world come to one of the most beautiful beaches in Greece, even if they prefer saving EUR 15 on the boat cave trip, they still find more interesting activities than “doing nothing” at a café. Well, tastes differ. 😉 3. If you did not want to swim or take the boat trip, it remains unclear why you booked this tour, when you could have simply booked a Corfu Town tour or explored it on your own, since you were primarily interested in food and beverages. Some travelling choices remain puzzling, even after my 28 years spent in this field... Anyway, when booking with Viator in the future, I strongly recommend basing your expectations on the tour itinerary, description, and inclusions rather than on personal assumptions.
Stepping onto the boat to explore the deep sea caves brought those stories to life for them in a way that no textbook or movie could. The logistics were wonderfully managed, with plenty of shade on the boat and we'll timed stops for traditional local ice cream to keep the youngsters from being overwhelmed. It was an uplifting, instructive, and stress free family event.
Mary was a wonderful guide but the trip was just ok. Not one of my favorite. Low key. Trip out to swimming area afforded little to see and do for me. Back in town was fine if going from one small shop to another is your thing

We had a difficult time finding the tour. The tour guide was friendly, helpful, and professional. We had to pay extra for the boat part, but it was amazing.
Very boring, I would not recommend this excursion. The only good part was the boat ride and I found out that pricing wasn't included. Had to pay more.

Seamless, just the right amount of time, excellent communication, and accommodations. Mahi, our guide, was first rate. Knowledgeable, kind, easy to follow and enjoyable. We cannot recommend her and the tour enough.
