Mezza giornata Zambesi Rafting

We did the half day white water rafting. The experience was fabulous from start to finish. Our crew were Abraham, Albert,Soldier and Serious and they could not have been more helpful and supportive. Fully recommend it to anyone. There was a safety kayak that followed our boat that put us at ease. We stopped at a beautiful sandy beach and saw two small crocodiles and vultures flying over the gorge. The rapids were thrilling and the hike down and up was ok as we were not rushed. We both bought t shirts to remember the experience. Thank you Maano adventures for a great day.

The Half Day Zambezi Whitewater Rafting was an astonishing experience suitable for any type of family. Our guide Andrew made a us feel very safe whilst rafting and made the experience top notch. There safety boats with every raft. Thank you Soldier! Must do activity when in Zambia or Zimbabwe with beautiful views on the hike up and down. Take your passport, Visa and sneakers that can get wet!

Excellent trip. The river was big and the rapids were so exciting. Our guides Thadeus and Abraham made us feel safe. Just a wonderful experience.

We just returned from an awesome experience! We booked same day, and Maano was extremely accommodating. Driver picked us up in fifteen minutes from the time we called. The whole crew demonstrated professionalism with their organisation, knowledge, and personality. They balanced safety with the thrill of the experience. There was never a moment where I felt unsafe. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Livingstone!

Absolutely incredible! Captain Andrew and the entire crew were stellar from start to finish. As complete beginners, we felt safe,with plenty of adrenaline. The scenery is breathtaking, the team is outstanding, and the whole experience felt like a VIP adventure!

What an incredible day from start to finish! A huge thank you to Captain Andrew, Abraham, and the entire crew, who were absolutely stellar. From the team carrying the boats to the paddlers leading us through the rapids, everyone was super professional, so friendly, and genuinely committed to making our day special! As complete beginners, we felt completely at ease. The experience was perfectly adapted to our level while still delivering plenty of excitement and adrenaline. Of course, this is a physical activity and you should be in reasonably good shape and pay attention to avoid injuries, but with such an experienced crew watching over us , we always felt well looked after. Since there were only two of us that day, we had the unexpected privilege of sharing the boat with professional rafters. They were incredibly kind, hilarious, supportive, and great fun to spend the day with. Adventure, spectacular landscapes, wonderful people, and amazing vibes all in one...this truly felt like a VIP experience, an absolute must-do!

An absolute experience on the Zambezi. You get to know nature from a different angle. Since there were only two of us spontaneously on our day we shared the boat with professionals from Manoo Adventures. With them on board, it was almost smooth to paddle through the various speeds. They were really all very nice, took good care of one and we had a lot of fun.

Just back from the half day rafting and wow! what an experience. Andrew, Abraham and the team did an amazing job. The experience ended up being a private one as we were the only 2 on the day and to say I was nervous beforehand would be an understatement but the team did a fantastic job of putting us at ease. To have photos and lunch included, was a huge plus too. Thank you for such a fantastic last day of our holiday!! Things to know ahead of the trip... - The experience starts from Zambia so if, like us, you are staying on the Zimbabwe side you need to take your passports and go through immigration. - The walk down to the gorge was steep, but had steps. The walk back up was a slightly different experience, it was steep with uneven footing but still doable. Definitely need a good pair of shoes to do both ways. - At the lodge stop, where you have lunch afterwards, there are no toilet facilities and so no ability to easily get changed. This meant that the travel back, which is quite a long trip, can get a little bit chilly (it was beginning of March) as we were still in our wet clothes. Just sharing as useful information and in no way did any of it detract from a fantastic experience!!!

Such a good day from start to finish. Honestly, if you are in the area you need to give this a go. The guides were expert rafters and fantastic people, the scenery speaks for itself and the rafting was a pure adrenaline rush (but felt safe at the same time) Transport to and from was easy, just make sure you bring dollars for your visa if needed (country dependent) Epic experience and Ericado, Abram and the team are second to none

The team was incredibly professional and well-organised, and we felt completely safe the entire time — while still getting a proper dose of adventure and adrenaline. Everything was handled with care and expertise, and the extra touches really stood out. We got water, cool drinks, and a light lunch afterwards which was so appreciated and the perfect way to end the experience.
