In questo tour verrai introdotto alla cultura e alla storia della città. Andiamo al mercato di Waroros in TukTuk. Questo mercato è il più grande mercato locale di Chiang Mai, dove molti abitanti thailandesi fanno la spesa. Successivamente, saliamo su un risciò a pedali (Samlor) per esplorare il centro della città vecchia e visitare la Porta di Tapae, l'ingresso principale dell'antica città murata. Quindi, visitiamo il Monumento ai Tre Re e camminiamo fino al Tempio di Pantao, che è il Lanna viharn in teak. È costruito con pannelli di teak modellati e sostenuto da colonne di teak giganti. L'interno del tempio contiene campane del tempio, ceramiche, Buddha in legno e manoscritti. Successivamente, continuiamo verso il tempio di Chedi Luang (il tempio del Grande Stupa), un monumento impressionante che un tempo ospitava il famoso Buddha di smeraldo del paese. I tre re che il monumento onora sono: re Mengrai, re Ramkhamhaeng di Sukhothai e re Ngam Muang di Payao. We had an absolutely amazing experience with AP Good at Travel, and our guide Noom truly made it unforgettable. We had booked a half-day tour and were pleasantly surprised at how good the guide Gubi was, and at least how much we reached. We were at the local Chinese market, visited Tae Pae street, two beautiful temples, so the preparations for the Loy Krathong festival, where we participated in the production of candles and were filmed by the local TV station. In addition, we gained a lot of knowledge about Buddhism and talked to a young monk who also studied linguistics.

This week my wife and I went on the Half Day Chiang Mai City and Cultural tour by private car. We were fortunate enough to have Mr Gobi as our tour guide. I have to say this was one of the best tours we have ever been on and was made even better by having Mr Gobi as our guide. The temples we were taken to were amazing and Mr Gobi was a wealth of knowledge on the history of not only the temples but the city and countries past. We found Mr Gobi to be easy going and friendly with a great sense of humour which kept us entertained. He felt more like a friend than a tour guide by the end. We enjoyed his knowledge and company so much that we requested he take us on the next 2 tours we had booked. I highly recommend this tour!

My parents & I had a fabulous private tour with Noom through Chiang Mai. Recommended by our hotel concierge, the tour was informative and local.
