Il tour parte dal terminal crociere in direzione Castelmola (circa 45 minuti di strada). Castelmola è un piccolo borgo sulla cima di Taormina con una meravigliosa vista del Monte Etna. Dopo circa un'ora ci spostiamo a Taormina, una delle città più belle d'Italia, raggiungibile solo a piedi e piena di negozi e ristoranti. Dopo circa 2 o 3 ore torniamo verso Messina, ma non prima di un bel giro panoramico di Isola Bella. Come ultima fermata, visiteremo il Santuario di Cristo Re, punto panoramico sullo stretto di Messina, e la cattedrale del Duomo, dove potrete ammirare il più grande orologio astronomico d'Europa. L'orario è studiato per godervi al meglio le vostre ore in Sicilia e per essere perfettamente in orario con la nave da crociera.

We toured with Paria (tour guide) and Alberto (driver) from “Best Sicily Excursions with Alberto.” It was outstanding! We were met promptly at the docks and they had a comfortable van for the six of us with cold water and AC. We also had some members of our group who are mobility impaired and they were very patient and helped us get into and out of the van at every stop. Paria spoke excellent English and was very fun and personable. We clicked right away. We arranged to go to Castelmola and Taormina but they were very flexible if we wanted to stop or divert to see something. Paria had a deep knowledge of the history of the area as well as the that of every place we visited. She stayed with us the entire time to ensure we did not get lost and provided background information at each site. While Messina was technically not on the tour, they brought us to the Doma and fountains and told us all the details. I would highly recommend this tour.

Oleksandra and Angelo were very good, but the shock absorbers on the van were very bad, resulting in a rough ride from Messina to Castelmola and back, making it difficult to enjoy the scenery.
We're really sorry if the road scared you a little. To get to Castelmola, a small medieval village, the road has a few curves, but we always try to drive as carefully as possible. I hope you enjoyed the rest of the day, as I could see from the photos.

After lunch, we met our driver and headed to the marina, where we were welcomed aboard by our boat captain and crew for an unforgettable afternoon on the water. Everything was seamless, well organized, and exceeded our expectations. This was truly a top-10 vacation day for our family. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and everyone we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty of Sicily.
