Itinerario
Il tuo viaggio inizia con una piacevole guida attraverso risaie e campi di sale. Durante il tragitto, visita una fattoria lungo la strada e guarda i locali che producono zucchero dalla noce di cocco. Il tour prosegue con una gita in barca di 30 minuti lungo una piantagione di frutta per vedere le case tailandesi e lo stile di vita tradizionale. Arrivando al mercato galleggiante di Damnoen Saduak, rimarrai affascinato dalle barche di varie forme e dimensioni utilizzate dai mercanti locali per trasportare i loro prodotti.
Prosegui per il mercato ferroviario di Maeklong. È uno dei più grandi mercati di pesce fresco in Thailandia, ed è centrato attorno alla pista della ferrovia Maeklong. Quando i treni si avvicinano, le tende da sole e i negozi sono spostati indietro dalle rotaie e quindi sostituiti una volta che il treno è passato.
Dopo aver pranzato in un ristorante locale, tornate a Bangkok per visitare il mercato locale nella vivace China Town, dove incontrerete mercatini, ristoranti sul lato della strada, botteghe, negozi di oro, bellissimi resti di architettura in stile coloniale e alcuni interessanti templi cinesi, come Leng Noi Yee. China Town è anche famosa per molte varietà di cibo e si trasforma nel più grande ristorante all'aperto di Bangkok durante la notte.
Vicino alla Chinatown è il più grande mercato di fiori freschi all'ingrosso e al dettaglio a Bangkok. Il mercato ha tutti i tipi di fiori popolari e oggetti correlati alla flora, tra cui rose, forget me nots, orchidee, gigli e altro. Molti di questi sono venduti in confezioni da 50 o 100 fiori ciascuno.

We got more than we expected in this tour. We hadn’t realized it was a private tour and our guide Alek provided us with a lot of information about the country and its history.
Exceptionally nice day, really interesting!. Our guide Kat was amazing, attentive, helpful and informative. We couldn’t say enough nice things about an incredibly nice lady!
I had a fantastic time traveling to the Market on the Water. My tour guide, Kat, spoke excellent English and spent all day with me, showing me the sights and sounds of Thailand outside of Bangkok.
This tour is very good if you want to see many attractions in one day! We visited the train market, a thai farm, we stopped (this is up to you, not included in the tour) at safari park to view and take photos with tigers and lions (but also riding elephants was available), then we enjoyed a trip on the river by typical thai long boat, we visited at floating market and had a good thai lunch there. We visited the flower market and china town. The guide Kate was gentle and amazing, she explained a lots of things with attention and patience. The transfer between attractions was made by a very comfortable and clean mini van. We really recommend this tour, good value for money and high quality.

Although the guide was really sweet and helpful, this tour is too touristy. You're taken to places where all the tourists go. It has an over-commercialised feel and you almost feel set up to spend. Unfortunately the train market is a popular tourist destination, and the floating market too. These were about the only worthwhile parts of the trip. However the lunch provided is at Riverside Bangkok, on a boat that is docked on the Chao Phraya River. It is really a sub-standard buffet. It would be better to eat in the market or at a place that is more personal. The flower market is just the same flowers over and over for use in ceremonies and for religious purposes. Overall this activity is over-priced for what you get and I feel that it could be better planned to avoid some of the disadvantages of a trip to tourist destinations.
