What a great experience! After being in Korea for a week, my two friends and I weren't sure if we actually needed a guided tour, but Youla exposed us to a side of Seoul we would never have found on our own. We all agreed it was a great way to end our trip. Learn about traditional medicine and wellness, get thumped and massaged by machines, drink medicinal tea, and try local snacks and produce!

We had an amazing experience with our guide in Seoul. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about sharing Korean culture and everyday life with us. The tour has been one of the best we have ever done. The herb market, the museum, the other markets, but mostly our guide, Youla. Thanks to it the experience has been very special, we have tried different types of delicious foods, some medicinal herbs and medicinal teas. He has explained in great detail customs and uses of herbs in Korean medicine, he has taken us to very authentic places that only locals know and that we would not have discovered on our own. It is an essential tour to delve into Korean culture and is also full of surprises. Youla has always been very nice and a splendid guide. We must definitely come and do the tour with her.

I’ve done multiple market and food tours while visiting South Korea with several of those in Seoul. This tour stood out as different, not just because of the multiple markets that we visited, but the focus on the medicinal history and herbal medicine. It gave me the opportunity to have a different understanding and experience of South Korea. That wasn’t the limit of the tour however we shared a variety of foods from different restaurants and market stalls getting to experience a breadth of flavors. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in seeing more of soul outside the common tourist areas by a guide who grew up in and knows the neighborhoods.

Such great tour! Youla was a great guide and gave me a lot of insights about korean culture. The food is already paid, just like the foot bath. If you want to look for something specific in Dongmyo market, you can ask so they can at least show how to get there later (if you are in a bigger group).

Highly recommend! Delicious food, a wonderful guide, and an eye-opening experience! This incredible tour with Youla was the first thing we did during our trip to South Korea. Experiencing South Korean food with a local expert revealed how underrated it is globally in terms of flavour and range! Not only did we sample lots of amazing local dishes from the market and surrounding area but learning about local food, customs, and even some history during our walk set us up for the rest of our vacation. We had such a great experience with this tour in Seoul. Instead of the usual tourist attractions, the tour focused more on Korean culture and local places that you normally wouldn’t find on your own. We visited a beautiful traditional tea house, explored a really interesting retro collection space filled with vintage items, and even had a relaxing Korean-style foot bath experience. Each place felt authentic and unique. What we appreciated the most was how the guide explained the cultural background and stories behind each place. It made the experience much more meaningful than a typical city tour. It honestly felt like exploring the city with a local friend who loves sharing Korean culture. If you want to experience a different side of Seoul beyond the typical tourist spots, we definitely recommend this tour. It was one of the most memorable experiences during our trip to Seoul.

The tour was perfect even though we got a bit of rain Youla did great, explains everything in detail, we toured several markets and I could get amazing souvenirs, taste delicious food, drink traditional tea, ufff I recommend it, it is the best 👌👌👌
