Il mercato galleggiante di Damnoen Saduak è uno dei mercati galleggianti più attraenti della Thailandia. Le gite in barca a motore sono già incluse nel tuo tour! Molti turisti tailandesi e stranieri vengono qui per assorbire l'atmosfera dei mercati dell'acqua tailandesi che esistono da oltre 100 anni. In questo mercato galleggiante puoi provare una serie di deliziosi frutti e cibi tailandesi come il mango dolce su riso appiccicoso, il gelato al cocco appena fatto e i noodles in stile tailandese.
Il mercato ferroviario è scherzosamente chiamato il mercato “a rischio di vita”! Ti divertirai a viaggiare su un treno locale verso la stazione di Mae Klong. Mentre sei su questo treno, vedrai l'esperienza "Unseen-Thailand". Quando suonerà il segnale del treno, accadrà il caos! I venditori si precipiteranno a sminuire la loro bancarella e a ripulire tutta la merce che ostruisce il treno in corsa a grande velocità. Una volta passato il treno, tutti i negozianti riprenderanno nuovamente i loro banchi.
Visita una fattoria di zucchero di cocco vicino al mercato galleggiante di Damnoen Saduak. In questa fabbrica imparerai come gli agricoltori tailandesi producono il nettare di cocco. Vedrai una dimostrazione di come tagliare i fiori di cocco, versare il nettare in un contenitore di bambù, mettere i legni di conservazione nel contenitore, far bollire e pastorizzare il nettare in quello potabile. Questa sarà la tua esperienza che ti aprirà gli occhi!

La cascata di Erawan è riconosciuta come una delle cascate più belle della Thailandia. L'attrazione principale del parco sono le cascate Erawan a 7 livelli con laghetti verde smeraldo. Erawan ha sette livelli separati che si estendono per circa 1.500 metri attraverso la fitta foresta pluviale del parco. Il parco prende il nome da "Erawan", l'elefante bianco a tre teste della mitologia indù. Si dice che il livello più alto delle cascate assomigli a una testa di elefante. La quota di ammissione per gli stranieri è inclusa nel tour.
Grazie a numerosi film e libri, il ponte sul fiume Kwai è diventato famoso e ha attirato sul sito sia i thailandesi che gli stranieri. Se un normale ponte di ferro nero può raccontare una storia, puoi star certo che sarà drammatica. Il ponte è dotato di piastre in acciaio sulle traverse per facilitare il passaggio sulla campata. Ci sono anche piattaforme panoramiche tra i cavalletti per darti una vista del fiume e per darti un posto dove toglierti di mezzo se sei sul ponte quando arriva un treno. Avrai un delizioso pranzo in un ristorante sulla zattera vicino al ponte sul fiume Kwai.
Il centro MBK è un centro commerciale imperdibile per i turisti stranieri. Potresti acquistare molti articoli popolari della Thailandia in questo enorme centro commerciale. We wanted to combine the floating market with the Erawan waterfalls in one day away from Bangkok, that’s why we took this tour. It’s a lot of driving since the markets and Erawan are not close together. But we knew that. First of all, we were lucky that we were the only two guest for the tour yesterday. We were picked up at our hotel on time in a very comfy car. Our guide Jim was very nice and attentive, our driver kind and a good driver. First we took the train to the train market, browsed a bit and watched the train leave 30 minutes later. Jim made sure to get us good spots every time. Then we drove to the floating market, took a boat and explored the market on boat and land. We had lunch there as well. Both markets are a tourist thing – you probably know that already since you’re reading a Viator review. It’s full and overwhelming. It also makes for nice photos. Then (after a quick stop at a coconut farm) we drove the three hours to the Erawan National Park and, wow, that’s a beautiful place. We even saw monkeys in the trees. We only made it to the fourth fall and cut our visit short after that, but that was our own decision. Unfortunately, my mom slipped on the rocks and twisted her knee in the process. That’s why we decided to skip the last stop (the bridge) and head straight back to Bangkok. Jim and our driver tool good care of us and were worried a lot. So, all in all, if you want to see the two big markets and an amazing National Park combined in one tour, do it. It is quite an expensive tour, but five-star-tours combining these destinations are rare. Also, Jim paid for our lunch and bought some snacks for us throughout the day. We were provided with enough water as well.

This was a really good trip if you want to see lots of things outside Bangkok in a short period of time. Our guide Adam and driver Lock were knowledgeable and fun. Nothing was too hard for them. The trip was long - around 13 hours - but it was expected. The Erawan Falls were .magnificent. We went to the 4th level but time prevented us from going further. All in all we had a great day and would recommend this trip. And with any luck you will get Adam and Lock to make the day complete.

It was a great tour guided by Adam and driver Peter. They knew their way around and took good care of us. We started at 6.30 and were back in our hotel in Bangkok by 19.30.

Great day with our guide Adam. It was everything you need to have seen outside Bangkok. We had theextendrd tour and were also allowed to experience the Wonderful Waterfalls. The long drive and the tedious looks up (if you want to go all the way up) were worth it. Afterwards some history at the River Keai Bridge until we return.
