We have just wrapped up a 7 days private Adventure Tour of Sri Lanka with Kingfisher Tours. Sri Lanka is a beautiful, clean country with friendly people and Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka really is a first-rate operator. The initial communications to organize and scope the tour were handled impeccably by Aashik. He was our contact during the tour and constantly took an interest in ensuring that our tour was going well. Our Guide, Aswar, was awesome. Aswar was constantly upbeat as he piloted and guided us all around his beautiful country. He was responsive to all of our requests, especially near the end of the tour as hotel stays had to be adjusted and as tour events were cancelled (and replaced by hikes which allowed social distancing) as the Covid-19 outbreak unfolded. The hotels were all comfortable and very well-chosen. The car was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the Wi-Fi that was provided in the car while we were driving. Having a private tour made it easy to adjust the schedule and timing of events. It also became important from a social distancing standpoint. Unfortunately, the excursions for the last 3 days were cancelled or changed (rightly so) as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. I guess we will just have to go back to Sri Lanka to see the leopards at Yala and the blue whales off Mirissa. When we do go back to Sri Lanka, you can be sure that Kingfisher Tours Sri Lanka will look after us and we hope that Aswar can be our guide. Highly Recommend their first class service !
