Mera Peak Climbing

What an incredible and unforgettable journey I had with Nepal Guide Treks during my Mera Peak climbing adventure. From the very beginning, everything was handled in a smooth and well-organized way. The pre-trip communication, planning, and arrangements gave me full confidence before even arriving in Nepal. Our guide was highly professional, calm, and very supportive throughout the trek. On the challenging sections of the trail, he stayed patient, encouraged the group, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. He also shared useful information about the route and always answered our questions in a clear and friendly way. The food and accommodation in such remote mountain areas were arranged surprisingly well, and all permits, logistics, and timing were managed without any hassle for us. Overall, this was a challenging but deeply rewarding experience, made much easier by the strong support of the Nepal Guide Treks team and Mr Prakash. I would happily recommend them to anyone planning Mera Peak climbing or any trekking adventure in Nepal.

The arrangements done by them were very good. the TEA house selection in all places were very nice, clean, hygienic and happening... The food quality overall was good at the places they made us stay. Proper guidance was given by Prakash (owner) to us for the trek and answered all the questions v had. V good experience over all

I have done a trek in Nepal with the Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition agency and the experience has been very good. The trekking I wanted to do was quite particular and I contacted many agencies. Among all, they were the ones who gave me the most confidence from the beginning, as well as giving me all the facilities to organize it exactly as I wanted. The manager, Prakash Devkota, has always been very attentive to everything and to provide solutions to all my needs. He has always answered in less than 24 hours the many questions he had before and during the trip, which gives a lot of peace of mind when you are organizing something like this remotely. Your attention has remained unchanged until I have been dropped off at the airport for the return. From the Guide and the porter who assigned me, I can only say good things for their Knowledge of what we were doing, for their permanent availability and for being excellent travel companions. A problem arose during the trekking and the agency responded very effectively and quickly to solve it, demonstrating its professionalism and responsiveness when things get complicated on the mountain. As a point of improvement, and due to the remote nature of the trekking we were doing, it would have been advisable to have a satellite telephone for communications if necessary. In short, a serious, professional and highly recommended agency to organize custom trekking in Nepal. Hopefully I can repeat with them again.

I had a great experience trekking and climbing with Nepal Guide Treks. My original route (Mera Peak-Amphu Laptsa Pass-Island Peak) was not possible as the the pass was closed due to the heavy snowstorms end of Oct. The agency and my excellent guide Gelchen Sherpa were very flexible and after summiting the Mera Peak we went back to Lukla and trekked to Island Peak via the EBC. Also communication with Prakash before my arrival in Nepal was smoothly and clear. I felt safe and taken care throughout the whole trek and especially during the two peak climbs. I can highly recommend them to solo travelers.

Nepal Guide Treks offered a first-class experience. I arrived shortly after the democracy protests and there was still a lot of confusion. All the other trekkers had cancelled and there were no internal flights. Prakash Devkota didn’t let this impact my expedition and organised overland travel and I am sure ran the whole trip just for me at a financial loss. The weather was awful until we reached 4500m then blue skies and stunning landscape. Had a brilliant time being the first and only person on the Mera Peak Summit. I am 60+ and had done lots of training but found the whole trip much easier than the pre trek preparations. Can’t wait to return to Nepal.

This was my second trekking in Nepal alone but the first time with firm to Mr. Prakash. I got good and detailed information ahead of the trip and had a meeting with him the day before the draw started where he gave me detailed information about the trip. The company is reliable, honest and solution-oriented. My guide was experienced and concerned with my safety all the way. I felt well taken care of throughout the trip. Mr. Prakash stretched far to accommodate my strange wishes. This made the trip a great experience. Will use them for more trips in Nepal in the future.

As a solo female traveler (27) that had never been to Nepal, I wanted to make sure I found a group that I felt safe and didn’t have to worry about logistics. I chose Nepal Guide Treks and Expeditions because they had good reviews on TripAdvisor and I am so glad I did!! Prakash was available to answer my millions of questions at all hours of the day. Upon arriving, I met my guide Sonam Sherpa, who was absolutely amazing the entire trek. He clearly has a wealth of knowledge that enabled me to summit Mera peak feeling safe (don’t discount just how high the peak is) and have a great time along the way. I am very very grateful to Prakash and Sonam for making this trip so memorable and enjoyable!

Wow, what's a great experience with " Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition P.Ltd". Our Guide Sonam Sherpa and porters make our mera peak climbing memorable. It would be impossible without prakash Devkota (OWNER OF NEPAL GUIDE) and his support. My boyfriend got sick at high camp, and we did call Mr praksh. After a phone conversation with him, we have decided to go down and see how my boyfriend feels, We go down to khare wait for his good health and next in the morning he was absolutely fine and we did successfully summit climbing.
