Vai via da Barcellona e fai un viaggio nei tempi antichi con questo tour per piccoli gruppi ai villaggi medievali della Catalogna. Visita i villaggi splendidamente conservati di Besalú e Tavertet e apprendi informazioni interessanti su questi luoghi storici dalla tua guida. Passa del tempo libero nel villaggio di Rupit per vedere la chiesa barocca di Sant Miquel e fare un tradizionale pranzo catalano (non incluso) in un ristorante locale. 8.15 - Inizierai la giornata nella nostra sede principale, che si trova proprio accanto al famoso Palau de la Musica. Incontrerai la tua guida, avrai il tempo di usare i bagni e magari prenderai un caffè veloce prima dell'inizio del tour. La tua guida ti spiegherà tutto sul giorno a venire e cosa aspettarti mentre aspetti che il tour lasci.
8.30 - Lascerai Barcellona attraverso il quartiere esempio della città. Mentre esci dalla città, la tua guida ti fornirà una breve storia di Barcellona, prima di lasciarti sedere e rilassarti nel viaggio di 90 minuti a Besalu.
10.00 - L'incantevole villaggio medievale di Besalú è la nostra prima tappa della giornata. Inizierai con un tour a piedi di questa antica città, fermandoti ad ammirare le sue strade fiancheggiate da un'architettura di epoca medievale. Avrai tempo libero per passeggiare per le stradine o per trovare un caffè appartato e sederti a guardare le persone che passano. Alcuni dei punti salienti da visitare sono il ponte medievale romanico del XII secolo, il monastero di San Pere dell'XI secolo e le terme ebraiche, altrimenti note come Mikveh, risalenti al XII secolo.
12.30 - Da Besalú, ci dirigeremo a Rupit. Sulla strada, passeremo da Castellfollit de la Roca, situato in alto sul bordo di un precipizio di basalto. È una delle città più piccole della Catalogna con solo 1.000 abitanti che vivono in soli 3.280 piedi quadrati (1.000 metri quadrati)
13.00 - Una volta a Rupit, avrai circa due ore per passeggiare per questo bellissimo borgo a tuo piacimento. Potrai passeggiare per le strade di ciottoli fiancheggiate da case del XVI secolo, attraversare il ponte di legno sospeso della città e visitare la chiesa di Sant Miquel in stile barocco di Rupit. Questo è anche il posto dove pranzerai. Ci sono un certo numero di ristoranti tradizionali tra cui scegliere. La tua guida sarà felice di aiutarti, o anche di effettuare una prenotazione per te. Dopo pranzo, puoi visitare le rovine del Castello di Rupit situato su una pittoresca cima rocciosa, oppure puoi anche fare un picnic e mangiare fuori. Da Rupit, facciamo un giro panoramico verso le scogliere di arenaria di Cingles de Tavertet.
16:00 - A Tavertet, l'ultimo villaggio medievale che visitiamo, goditi una breve passeggiata verso le meravigliose scogliere che si affacciano sul lago Pantà de Sau. Ascolta alcuni dettagli sul villaggio dalla tua guida prima di visitare la chiesa romanica dell'XI secolo di Sant Cristòfol.
17.30 - Termina il tuo viaggio con un viaggio di ritorno a Barcellona, durante il quale godrai panorami di foreste verdeggianti come Magatalls, insieme al parco naturale El Montseny, dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'UNESCO.
18.45 - Dopo una giornata tornata indietro nel tempo arriveremo a Barcellona verso le 18.45. La guida ti aiuterà a trovare un taxi o la strada per la metropolitana per tornare al tuo hotel o ti consiglierà alcuni ristoranti dove cenare.

We very much enjoyed this tour and the cost was reasonable. It was a small group of 7 of us in a van fairly nice van. The villages were well worth the trip and Carme (sp?) did a fantastic job! She provided us a background on the area we were traveling through and told us about each village for a little while when we arrived at each location. Then we had a some time to explore on our own. The villages were quiet and the history was fantastic. Carme made sure we were comfortable, keep things moving in a timely way, made it fun, and provided exactly the right amount of information and direction. She even stopped once to let us view a village across the way that was built out on a peninsula like cliff, and then another time so we could look out over the mountains. It was beautiful. My one complaint was that, although she was a careful driver, she went pretty fast on those mountain curves. I guess she is used to that kind of driving. If we are ever in Barcelona again, we will do another day trip with this company.
Our guide was fantastic. The villages were absolutely stunning with just about the right amount of time spent at each village.
Quite a long day but very interesting. Beautiful views towards the pyrenees and picturesque villages visited. Older people may find some of the walking/steps difficult (we are in our 70s and reasonably fit). Our guide, Stephen was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the day

As the title says, I was blown away by this tour. It was a small tour with myself, 2 other people and our guide. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we learned about the history and culture of the villages we saw, and to help us feel comfortable. At the end of the tour we all hugged - honestly I have traveled for several decades and this was the first time this has happened. 5 stars.

Our tour guide, Berta, was absolutely fantastic! She took the time to explain the history in great detail, making every stop interesting and engaging. She also shared excellent recommendations for things to do during our free time, as well as the best places to eat and visit around Barcelona. One of the highlights of the tour was sampling delicious local food and drinks unique to Barcelona. Berta even took photos for us, which was a thoughtful touch. Throughout the tour, she regularly checked to make sure everyone was comfortable, asking if anyone needed a bathroom break, had food allergies, or was feeling dizzy or nauseous so she could take the necessary precautions. The small group size made the experience even better, allowing everyone to hear her clearly, ask questions, and truly enjoy each part of the tour. Overall, it was an amazing experience, well worth the trip, and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.
What a fantastic tour! Make sure you are aware this is definitely a walking tour on a bunch of uneven ground, if you wanna get the most of it! Stunning Settings, delicious foods, and nice friendly interactions with everyone involved. Our tour guide, Jerome, beyond helpful, friendly, courteous, and overall a nice guy! Driving through the mountains was a breeze, and he took time to make sure we stopped and took beautiful pictures!
