Itinerario
Guidiamo un po' più avanti nel Parco Nazionale del Teide e arriviamo in un luogo dove abbiamo l'opportunità di fare una breve passeggiata fino al cratere del vulcano Sámara. Passeremo anche per l'antica cima del Teide "El Pico Viejo" con il suo enorme campo di lava di oltre 5 km². Abbastanza recente con poco più di 200 anni fa. Più avanti arriviamo nel luogo più bello del parco, le famose rocce “Roques de García”, e qui abbiamo tempo per delle belle foto. Dall'altra parte della strada al Parador del Teide c'è anche una caffetteria e un bel negozio di souvenir.
Visitiamo il piccolo villaggio nascosto di Masca nel mezzo della zona di Teno. Qui abbiamo il tempo per scattare qualche foto, e per una sosta accanto alla chiesa locale con un bellissimo ficus enorme di qualche centinaio di anni. Proseguiamo fino al prossimo villaggio, los Carrizales, dove avremo l'opportunità di fare una breve passeggiata. Inoltre, percorriamo la strada tortuosa sopra la montagna e arriviamo sul lato nord dell'isola dove domina chiaramente l'agricoltura locale.
La tappa successiva nel villaggio di Garachico, completamente ricostruito dopo che la città fu completamente distrutta dalla colata lavica del vulcano nero nel 1706. Qui abbiamo il tempo di passare davanti all'antico castello di San Miguel, la chiesa di Santa Ana e il parco dove possiamo vedere un vecchio torchio.
Guida verso Icod de Los Vinos, la terra dell'albero del Drago millenario, piccola pausa. Quindi guidiamo verso il bellissimo punto panoramico del villaggio di Chirche per una breve pausa fotografica.

This was a fabulous one day tour including many parts of the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us some very interesting insights on living on Tenerife. A highly recommended company to use.
We had François as our guide for two trips, and we could not have wished for a more professional, knowledgeable and pleasant person to show us some of the best places in Tenerife. We visited Mount Teide, Masca and Garachico and had the most wonderful time. François is the most amazing driver, and we could just sit back and relax as he navigated the mountain roads, which enabled us to fully enjoy and appreciate the spectacular scenery. We had an amazing day seeing all of the sights on the island! Mount Teide was stunning to look at we loved having time to explore around the volcanos. Our guide was extremely insightful and clearly knew a lot and was passionate about the island. We loved that our guide knew to save Teide for the end of the day and go to the smaller towns first to avoid traffic and excessive tourists.
Our guide, Miguel was personable, truly passionate and knowledgeable about the Canary Islands. Miguel was flexible with the schedule. Our highlight of the trip was the drive down above the clouds from Tiede with views of the setting sun, La Palma and La Gomera. We definitely recommend this trip.

Comfortable air conditioned minibus, friendly informative driver and well planned itinerary. We went to places we would not have wanted to drive to!! The restaurant chosen for lunch was lovely and not too expensive.
It was an incredibly interesting excursion! Philip was very competent, spoke excellent English, gave valuable explanations and responded to all questions. He picked us up on time and we were back at the hotel 2 minutes before 6pm. The minibus is ideal for such a trip! Thank you!
