We are sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during the tour. This is an Israel tour, and its main advertised sites—Masada and Ein Gedi—are located within Israel. The route from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea does pass through Area C, as do many standard routes in this region. The rest and food stops are predetermined according to their location, facilities, and how efficiently they integrate into the day’s itinerary. They are not selected by the guide for personal or political reasons. Regarding the comments you mentioned, the group passed a mikveh, and the guide explained the Jewish religious practice of niddah as part of the historical and cultural context. Providing information about the sites and structures encountered during the tour is part of the guide’s role. Nevertheless, such subjects should always be presented respectfully and sensitively, and we are sorry that the explanation made you feel uncomfortable.
