Marrakech Tradizionale Marocchino Hammam & Massaggi con Hotel Pickup

Overall, we had a pleasant experience and felt it was well worth the price we paid. The package included a relaxing massage, steam bath, traditional black soap treatment and scrub, and we enjoyed the experience overall. The massage was relaxing and the staff were nice. The only part my friend and I found difficult was the steam bath, which felt unbearably hot for both of us. We mentioned this to the staff and were told that the hotter the steam bath is, the better it is. It may be part of the traditional experience, but it was a little too intense for us personally. The only slightly uncomfortable moment happened at the end. After the driver dropped us back at the drop-off point, he directly asked us for a tip even though we had already paid the full amount through Viator. We were actually planning to tip him anyway, but being asked directly felt a little awkward, and we ended up giving more than we had originally intended. Apart from that, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience and, considering everything included in the package, we felt it offered good value for money.

I was contacted a day before by the operator stating pick up for 9.30am. Only to be contacted on the day around 8am for a 9am pick up. We woke up late but managed to find the pick up before 9.30am as it was not possible for get there for 9am. Thankfully we saw the driver and tour guide and we boarded the bus. We went to a lovely place and we had the hamman treatment only. We had 1 hour instead of 3 hours as the person at the venue told me the massage was somewhere else. The driver did not speak english and we did not know where we were so i told him to take us to the pick up point as this was best. I contacted tripadvisor for some partial refund and was informed this was not possible. I used our guide for all the other booking and we had excellent service. The treatment was great so cannot complain about it however we were short changed.

They pick you up in a van and take you to a spa on the outskirts of Marrakech, where there is not as much tourism.
