Il Mardi Himal Base Camp è un trekking appena aperto, il che significa che ottieni il vantaggio di una vista spettacolare sulla gamma dell'Annapurna senza la folla. Per cinque giorni camminerai attraverso foreste di rododendri e lungo creste erbose coperte da nuvole ondulate e fiori di campo. Lungo il percorso incontrerai yak, capre e bufali. Mentre il sentiero si snoda, il fantastico Machhapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) appare sporadicamente alla vista. Le case da tè sono situate lungo il sentiero, offrendo sistemazioni semplici con viste superbe e un ottimo posto per riposarsi e mangiare dopo una dura giornata di trekking. Questo trekking richiede una forma fisica moderata, poiché ogni giorno prevede 3-6 ore di cammino. Dal campo base Mardi Himal e dal punto di vista, una serie di montagne innevate viene alla luce, che è magnifico da vedere. Il percorso di ritorno segue ruscelli gorgoglianti attraverso boschi tranquilli, quindi offre una vista meravigliosa su lussureggianti vallate e risaie, prima di attraversare un villaggio locale dove i bambini sorridenti accolgono i passanti.

I booked a trek through Trek Around Himalayas from Pokhara and they were able to set me up with a great guide for a 4 day trek up to Mardi Himal Base Camp. They offered 2 options: hire the guide and pay as you go for food and lodging, or a package deal, everything included. Opted for the package deal and it worked out great. Although I think the other option would have been fantastic as well. Prices were competitive. I wanted to do the trek a little quicker than many and that was no problem. Trek Around Himalayas was adaptable, not pushy, informative, and supportive. I had a very positive experience working with them and would book a trek through them again. Will recommend to all friends trekking in Nepal.

Though I didn’t have any experience with trekking, I jumped into this adventure and did not regret it! Was wonderful, all the way had nice views and a nice spiritual energy. Some places through the forest were really magical. The tourism team were attentive and helpful always trying to do the best route for me and the guide was patient and a nice company.
