Mangrove Night Tour was incredible! Andrey once again killed it! There are tour guides that either make the tour or ruin it. Andrey has a gift of making the tour incredible with his enthusiasm and knowledge!

We are very satisfied to have taken this tour as it was very educational for my entire family to understand the importance of the mangrove ecosystem. The guide Elias was kind, cheerful, and provided us with an excellent morning amidst the mangrove channels: we saw many species of birds, monkeys, crabs, caimans, and much more. I want to thank the company Steve Tours as they have been very kind to us and have made their best effort to ensure our family had an incredible time. They also provided us with some fruits to taste before the tour.

Beautiful and unique! We were honestly a bit worried about not so friendly critters but the boat felt completely safe and we were able to see monkeys up close and many things you can’t see elsewhere. Staff was friendly and and made it a great experience!

Based on the description and other reviews, I was looking forward to hearing a lot about the mangroves and animals. Unfortunately, my guide rarely spoke to the whole boat, but had long conversations with the one Spanish speaking couple on the trip (the rest of the boat were English speakers). We spent most of the time with the capuchins, which was fun, but did not see the variety I expected, and the tour ended after an hour and a half. I don’t feel like we got the experience that was advertised. Also, it didn’t say the name of the tour operator anywhere on the booking and they didn’t respond when I tried to contact them by message or phone to confirm the meeting point.

This was the best wildlife viewing tour I have been in. We saw so many monkeys, birds and even a sloth. Mikhail and Gonzalo were the best guides. Highly recommend.

We loved this experience. We were taken into the mangroves by "Crazy Alex" he is a very entertaining guide but also very knowlegeable and was able to point out a lot of animals and birds - he is also very good a bird and monkey calls. He even called the monkeys to the boat and they seemed pleased to see him and we were certainly pleased to see them. Others on here have criticised this practice, but I can't see the home, Capuchins in Costa Rica interact with people all the time - at our hotel they regularly mounted raids to steal sugar sachets and biscuits - if we never show up they'd be fine, when we do they are happy to get some easy food. Anyway, it's a fun tour and you will see a lot, the mangroves themselves are stunning.

« Alex the crazy » was awesome! He had obviously a lot of knowledge. We were treated kindly et we felt safe. Its a nice local entreprise. You must try it. Spanish and English tour your are available. They gave us nice tips for our trip to CR. :)

It was an amazing tour!!!! The guide was very knowledgable and shared lots of interesting information about the tour. We saw plenty of animals like the white faced monkey, different species of lizards, boa constrictor snakes, tucans, and my favorite, are the sloths!!! Such an amazing tour. I highly recommend along with the Manuel Antonio Park Tour. These two tours are a must things to do when in Manuel Antonio! I highly recommend Steve Tours!!!
