Murillo was amazing! We met in a hotel lobby and walked to local bars to try his favorite food and drink. He also gave us a history lesson of each location and explained why each was chosen. He was informative, engaging and fun! Highly recommended!

I had the best time on my Copacabana food tour with Murillo! It felt like a genuine local experience rather than a typical tourist trek. We made several stops, and at each one, Murillo shared great history and helped us order the most unique, delicious items. This was such a fun evening out, and the perfect introduction to Rio on our first night visiting there. We had a great group who were all out-going and got along very nicely. Highly recommend as a fun way to acclimated to Rio!

We had a fantastic night visiting bars, eating food and trying drinks we wouldn't have gone near if we hadn't taken this tour. Murillo was an excellent host, never rushing us and not putting any limits on how much we ate or drank throughout the night. There's a reason each bar we visited is filled with locals - take the tour and you'll see.

An excellent experience for curious and adventurous travelers who want to enjoy a local cultural exploration. Murillo, our guide was knowledgeable, fun and clearly showed his passion for Rio’ local bar and food scene. We sampled multiple drinks and award winning bar/bistro foods - all very unique and tasty. If you want a fun, enlightening and custom drinking and culinary experience - then this excursion is for you. If you are boring and predictable - then eat at one of the many cliche tourist sites.

Highly recommended—this is an excellent way to discover some of Rio’s most iconic yet lesser-known bars, the kind that locals truly love but many tourists miss. Getting to sample authentic local cuisine along the way was a fantastic bonus. The entire experience felt relaxed and welcoming, and it was great meeting fellow travelers along the way. Murillo is incredibly knowledgeable about local food and drinks (and clearly well-liked!), and he goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly.
