Alla prima fermata, si entra in una taverna storica del 1840, dove rustiche travi in legno e muri in pietra fanno da cornice. Qui, potrete gustare un bicchiere di Moscatel dolce o vino Pedro Ximénez, abbinato a una degustazione di acciughe o pinchos di salmone fresco. I sapori ricchi e l'atmosfera senza tempo della taverna creano un'esperienza davvero memorabile.
Successivamente, dirigiti in un vivace locale vicino al Museo Picasso, un palazzo del XVI secolo che ospita più di 200 opere di Picasso. Nelle vicinanze, vi verrà servito un bicchiere di vino o una piccola birra, insieme a una selezione di tapas salate. Puoi scegliere tra carrillada (guanciali di maiale teneri) o atún (tonno), oppure optare per i ricchi sapori di chivo malagueño (stufato di capra), chicharrone croccanti o il succulento atún encebollado (tonno in salsa di cipolla). Da condividere, assaggerete anche mezza porzione di albóndigas (polpette) che completano perfettamente le tapas.
Plaza de la Merced è una delle piazze più importanti e antiche della città, esistente fin dall'epoca romana. Incarna veramente l'anima andalusa e sentire si può vedere alcuni monumenti circostanti come il Monumento a Torrijos o la casa dove Pablo Picasso è nato. Nelle vicinanze, alla prossima destinazione, tuffati nell'essenza della cucina andalusa con una selezione di tapas, come le berenjenas al miel (melanzane fritte con una deliziosa salsa al miele) o le acciughe! Our guide was great. We spent a little too much time in the market at different stalls, it was stuffy and hot there even though it was nice to see. The cheeks and fried anchovies at El Pimpi were the best!
Gabriella was lovely, a great guide. The first two tapas bars were great- traditional Spanish which is just what we wanted to experience. However, the tour didn’t meet the expectations and previous reviews. 1) The tour visited only three venues not 4 as described. 2) The tapas provided were ok, nothing fantastic or memorable. 3) Apart from one traditional wine every other drink was choose your own. 4) the tour ended after 2.5 hours not the 3.5 hours as described. It was underwhelming and a disappointment. Gabriella was lovely though
Hello, We thank you a lot for your feedback and we would like to apologize if the experience you had didn't meet up your expectations. Indeed, there were some unexpexcted circumstances that led the tour to last a little less than 3 hours, as the last venue, the bakery, has closed sooner than expected and the guide had to go there and get them to take away, so that you could have a taste of a local dessert, such as the pionono, as well. We're sorry if the food and drink selection wasn't memorable as you wished and we will keep this feedback in mind to improve our experience for future customers. This tour was an amazing experience! Our tour guide was Rosarillo! She was so much fun and very knowledgeable and passionate about Magala wine, tapas and the history of Malaga. She provided us with extra information to make our stay awesome! Thank you again Rosarillo for making our trip very memorable! Highly recommend this tour!
This has to be the best food tour I have been on yet! So many different things to try, so many glasses of wine haha! Some of the most passionate teaching and such interesting parts of history with the city was included as well as an easy to find meet up point. We had a small group which was very nice, it created a very jolly and intimate atmosphere. If we ever come back definitely booking again!!!
We enjoyed a truly fantastic day with our guide Rosario. She was a lovely, bubbly, intelligent and very knowledgeable guide who from the start shared her passion for Malaga, its history and obvious love for its food and drink. Rosario shared this all with us throughout and showed us some wonderful food and wine. Hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.
