This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We did the tour with our three children aged 7 to 12 and the all loved it. They were busy with the GPS and we got to look at the city. Our guide, Nefer, couldn't have been any more helpful. It was lovely to be able to do the whole thing at our own pace. We'd highly recommend this tour, worth every cent. Definitely a highlight of our holiday.
To know the old town is a beautiful solution. The activity is well organized, Nefer (our guide) was very kind and the treasure is beautiful. I recommend this activity to all groups of friends who want to try something different. Three hours well spent. Warning: you will do the treasure hunt yourself, the guide will explain the rules at the beginning and you will find yourself with her at the end. It will provide you with all the necessary materials to solve the various puzzles. Follow the instructions on the booklet carefully and everything will be very simple:)
I changed my schedule and did not change. I was informed that I was present at 10:00, but he didn't show up. No one at the scheduled time. Then I saw an e-mail, which would arrive half an hour later than the old time, 14:30. Gave it all wrong. Jesus, the guide, was not with identification, we were late to find him. The activity was nothing of what we expected. For so many disagreements we decided not to do the activity. I want my money back.
The idea is very good, you get a small overview in a short time and the organizers are reliable. BUT the time is too short, especially with a child. My daughter is 5 years old and there were hardly any incentives for her. It was stressful and frustrating as we could not complete the treasure hunt due to lack of time. For children from 10 years it is certainly different. The organizer welcomed the criticism, which I find very positive.
The hunt itself was lackluster and so difficult in areas where neither our group or others could figure it out. One stop asked us to figure out clues behind a seated table in a restaurant. Tim was incredibly condescending to both us and the other family. His abrupt comments to my autistic son created a problem from the start. This was all so unprofessional.
The Private Sightseeing Treasure Hunt was by far one of our favorite things we did while in Spain. We had a group of 6 ranging in age from 9 to 72, and everyone really enjoyed it. We felt like we got to see a lot of the city that we would not have seen had we just explored on our own. The clues and tasks were fun and made us think. It took us about 3 hours total, and we probably walked about 3 miles.

We had a great time and we got to explore a lot of Malaga that we hadn’t seen on our prior day. Very nice way to explore the city and pretty alleyways.
Tim was patient and very friendly with our group. We were a large group of 11 people that wanted to try something a little different than your typical walking tour. We learned a lot about Malaga and had some group tasks that challenged our team!
A fun way to get to know the city. We can really recommend this tour for all the newcomers in Malaga City. Nice and friendly guide !
