Lisa was the best museum tour guide ever! Really knows her art works and history. Tour covers a lot, and skips a lot too. But you can always go back and see the things you missed. Her English was good and her Spanish was great too. You can pick your dialog.
Amazing. Yanny ,the group's guide , told us the story behind every corner of the city, and the introduced us to some of the most emblematic paintigs inside the Prado Museum. It Washington an intense and worthy experience.
The guides both on the Madrid tour and the Prado museum made the whole day. They were AMAZING passionate, ready to answer questions and very interactive. A great guide makes all the tour .
We had been on numerous tours similar to this on our 2 week vacation and this one did not come close to meeting our expectations. The tour was done in both English and Spanish so the back and forth of the guides commentary was very difficult to follow and often by the time the description was given in English we had passed the spot of topic. Our guide appeared to lack knowledge of the area and therefore lost the groups attention for the most part when minimal information was passed forward. On the museum tour at least 4 ppl left the group with in the first 10 min. It’s advised to ensure the language you require for the tour is confirmed prior to booking. The hop on hop off tour would be a good alternative in my opinion as you can get the language specific guided information and stop at locations of interest. We left Madrid knowing no more than we did when we came as a result of our time invested with this tour. Very disappointing.
Dear Corkj2136, Thank you for taking the time to write this review, I regret to learn that the Madrid Highlights and Prado Museum didn't live up to your expectations, I would like to inform you that we only operate this combo tour in English and Spanish, we do not offer an English option for this tour, all authorized selling points and agencies are aware of this tour being bilingual, I will take your comment about the guide's commentary into account but it is necessary to point our that we did not receive any other claim of this type from the rest of the attendants on this tour, Sincerely,
We enjoyed the simple city tour. Also very much enjoyed museum Prado. The guide is very knowledgeable in art.
Dear Jcssky, Thank you for your nice review. What a satisfaction to know you had such a wonderful time in our Madrid Highlights and Prado Museum tour. If the tour was to your liking, we recommend you to join our other tours in Madrid and Barcelona too! Kind regards, Alex B.
We had a really great tour guide. The overall experience was very good. Except that the bus was 45 minutes late. Our tour guide was Macarena and we’re very pleased with our tour. She’s very knowledgeable & easy to talk to. We were told that we will be refunded. When should we expect a credit to our account.
Our guide Miriam was amazing, she was so knowledgable about all the artwork. She made our visit not only pleasurable but interesting.
The guide was the best. His English was very good and his knowledge of Spanish History was excellent, but most impressive was his guided tour through the Prada Museum and his detailed knowledge of each artist he pointed out and what the details of each painting meant.
This was a quick overview of the various sights in Madrid. The guide was OK - her attitude on that day seemed as if she didn't want to be there. This was a good, quick easy way to see many sites in a couple of hours.
Dear ABitSpoiled, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on our Madrid Hop On Hop off bus tour. I am glad you enjoyed the service in matters of transportation and information during your visit to the city. Our service is indeed a convenient way to see the city most important sites in one day. I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in one of our tours in your next visit to Barcelona. Best regards, Edgar W
Had to cancel tour due to protesting. However the tour guide notified us early and let us know what was happening.
