Puoi scegliere di visitare la città di Funchal, conoscere la sua storia, visitare alcuni dei suoi punti di riferimento e aree iconiche, come la Città Vecchia del XV secolo, la Cattedrale Sé, il suo famoso "Mercado dos Lavradores" (mercato contadino) o "Fortaleza do Pico" . La tua guida / autista prenderà anche tutte le strade secondarie verso luoghi che solo un vero locale conosce.
Il lussureggiante villaggio collinare di Monte a 550 metri sul livello del mare, ha giardini incantevoli, viste fantastiche e il suo dove si trova il famoso "Taboggan Ride".
Le scogliere orientali di Garajau possono anche offrire una vista eccellente sull'Oceano Atlantico e sulla città di Funchal. Durante la salita, la prima tappa sarà a Pinaculo, a 280 metri sul livello del mare e situata sul bordo di una scogliera. Viaggia fino a Garajau, situato all'estremità orientale della baia di Funchal. La sua bellezza unica è stata immortalata in uno dei dipinti di Winston Churchill. Una volta nel villaggio avrai l'opportunità di esplorarlo e conoscere la sua storia, cultura e provare alcune delle specialità locali.
Dopo la visita al villaggio di pescatori, puoi risalire le colline fino alla cima della scogliera di Cabo Girão dove, nel punto più alto, 580 metri sul livello del mare, una passeggiata panoramica in vetro ti offrirà una vista mozzafiato sulla costa sud-est e sulla spiaggia sotto.

Our guide was excellent. He took us to places where only locals would know. We had a very fun and informative trip.
Absolutely fantastic tour of the island. Our guides Maggie & Gil were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly & engaging. We got to see lots of wonderful places away from the hustle of the city. Tuk tuk are a brilliant way to explore really fun for all ages and allow you to see & experience everything around you. We had a great afternoon with our guide Jesus; he took a lot of time to explain everything to us and also allowed us time to explore a bit. I would book it again just like that.

We took the Tuk Tuk tour in Madeira and it was fantastic. It’s a great way to see the highlights of the city and learn about its history. John was our guide and did an outstanding job. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and fun. And I had injured my knee and he helped me in and out of the Tuk. We were never rushed so we had long stops to make sure we saw everything. Also took us to a bakery that makes this wonderful dessert. Can’t remember the name but this place makes the original. I would definitely ask for John if I was going on the tour

Our tuk tuk tour in Funchal was one of the highlights of our trip! Domilia was without doubt our perfect guide—she was entertaining, kind and incredibly informative. From the moment we started, she kept us engaged with fascinating stories, local history, and insider knowledge about the island, all delivered with warmth and humor. This was a great way to tour around Funchal area on a beautiful sunny day. Our driver/guide John was really good and helped us get a feel for the area. We felt safe & everything went well capping off the tour by dropping us at the vintage room for a Madeira tasting. Great day!

We had a wonderful trip with Margarida on our tuk-tuk tour. We were unfortunately delayed with our ship arrival, but the company was very accommodating and waited for us until we were able to get off. Margarida was a fabulous tour guide. She listened to our interests and tailored the tour perfectly. And she took great photos of us. Our first stop was up the hill to the toboggan. She gave us great instructions, and when we were finished was there to pick us up. We then covered much of the downtown area and some of the newer developments while she took us up to some incredible vistas and then down into a lovely fishing village. We also visited the glass-bottom viewpoint, some beautiful caves, and she even took us to a winery so we could try the famous Madeira wine. We had a lovely day with her and appreciated her knowledge, experience and sense of humour. It was a great introduction to Madeira and encouraged us to return at another time.
