La giornata inizia con il pick-up da Arusha, Moshi o zone vicine prima di guidare al villaggio di Materuni sulle lussureggianti colline del Monte Kilimangiaro. Goditi una passeggiata guidata attraverso coltivazioni di banane, piantagioni di caffè e foresta pluviale tropicale che porta alla spettacolare cascata Materuni di 80 metri. Lungo il percorso, la tua Guida condividerà approfondimenti sulla cultura Chagga, la vita del villaggio, le tradizioni agricole locali e la natura circostante. Nelle giornate limpide, c'è anche la possibilità di godere di una splendida vista sul Monte Kilimangiaro. Dopo l'escursione, torna al villaggio per un'esperienza interattiva del caffè Chagga dove imparerai come il caffè viene coltivato, tostato, macinato e preparato utilizzando metodi tradizionali. Gli ospiti sono invitati a partecipare al processo mentre gustano canzoni locali, balli e caffè biologico appena preparato dal villaggio. Dopo Materuni, proseguire per il villaggio Maasai di Ewangani, è più accessibile e offre una leggera introduzione alla cultura Maasai. Ospitata dai membri della comunità Masai locale, l'esperienza include case tradizionali, danze, lavorazione delle perline, cultura del bestiame, tecniche di accensione del fuoco e narrazione delle tradizioni Masai. This was a great excursion and our guide Pemba was very knowledgeable!! The people of the Maasai village were so welcoming and we enjoyed being fully immersed into their culture. We learned so much from them! The hot springs were also enjoyable, but know that if you need goggles or a raft you will have to pay extra once there.
The tour was excellent, and my guide Mpemba was great too! The hike to the waterfall is beautiful; I was able to see chameleons and exotic fruits. We ate delicious native food and made our own coffee. The day was a bit cloudy, but in the end, we were able to see Kilimanjaro, and the guide made sure to take me to the best spot to see it well and take photos. I recommend it 100%!

8 days of safari at its finest, were just two with our driver and guide Samuel from Beach Safari. Every day a highlight, always in the morning! A clean car, despite great mud rides. After Arusha NP , Tarangire and Lake Manyara, we were in the midst of the remigration of felt millions of wildebeest. Samuel also knew where to find the lion families, the chitas and leopards. Highlights in the Ngogoro Crater 4 Rhinos and to top it off came 3 white or bright Rhinos, which even Samuel is astonished by, as it has not seen them for years. The Maasai's show was interesting and was mainly for financial support. Surprisingly the very good all-inclusive food, with emphasis on sustainability without disposable dishes. The accommodations , both hotel and tent were great. A total of 5 stars for the trip and another extra star for Samuel. Herwig & Brigitte

So we thought it will be a group of people taken to Masai village but it turns out it was only us 4. For the whole village to make a dancing show etc. Wonderful experience. Expect to buy some souvenirs from locals at the village, or make little donation.
