Incredible experience, the organization of the activity went like clockwork. I recommend!

Mohamed at Egypt Getaway Tours put together a fabulous trip for our group of 14. The participants changed several times during the year from when we first booked the trip, and he easily accommodated every change. He arranged amazing guides and ensured continuous attention from his staff throughout the journey. We always felt safe and comfortable, with easy contact to Mohamed as well as our individual guides through WhatsApp group chats from the moment we arrived in Egypt until the minute we passed security to head home. We saw everything in Egypt, from Alexandria to Abu Simbel, and then over to Giza to experience the iconic Pyramids and the Sphinx. It was a fantastic representation of the entire country. We spent 3½ weeks on this trip. Egypt Getaway Tours even arranged extra experiences on short notice when we came up with a few additional things we wanted to do, like camel rides. If you are planning to visit Egypt, you can't go wrong booking with Egypt Getaway Tours.

The whole experience was amazing. We chose to do the 3 tombs and the Karnak temple along with the hot air balloon. Our guide and our transport was perfectly curated and informative. Communication was also good. It was truly an amazing experience. A must do.

It was wonderful! I was caught at the right time and I was able to take the balloon ride in the first hour to not be late for the next tour.

Our private sunrise hot air balloon experience in Luxor was one of the highlights of our Egypt trip. Everything was smooth from start to finish, including the hotel pickup and transfer to the launch site. The staff was professional, organized, and made the entire experience feel safe and relaxed. Watching the sunrise over Luxor from a private balloon was incredible. Seeing the Nile, temples, and countryside from above in the early morning light was unforgettable. Having a private basket made it feel much more exclusive and peaceful compared to the larger group balloons nearby. The pilot was experienced and professional, and the flight itself lasted around 45 minutes with amazing views the entire time. The landing was smooth, and the overall experience felt very well run. If you’re visiting Luxor and want something truly memorable, I would absolutely recommend doing the VIP private balloon ride. It was worth it for the experience, privacy, and views alone.

Everything was great. Picked up by guide Islam who explained everything perfectly helped everyone get to balloon and back to the proper van when we finished. The balloon ride was beautiful, the pilot pointed out landmarks from the air and turned the balloon around so everyone could see the different features. The landing was as smooth as could be. Overall great trip!

Amazing experience! Guide very kind!

Great guide and very well organized. We were picked up on time and after picking up some more guests from nearby hotels we went straight to the ferry and then to a waiting car and then straight to the balloon site. The flying was fantastic and very friendly pilot. A great experience!

Pick up time was communicated in advance. For hot air balloon, we had a lot of air time which made for a memorable early morning. Our guide Ali was knowledgeable, friendly and set up a full day of tours well. He provided interesting descriptions of each site and allowed for sufficient free time for us to explore and enjoy the sites. We ended our day at an authentic Egyptian restaurant which was a great experience. Excellent tour and value for money.
