In questo tour privato di un giorno, approfondirai la storia di una delle battaglie più significative della seconda guerra mondiale, la Battaglia del Bulge. La giornata inizia con una visita al Cimitero Militare Americano e Memoriale del Lussemburgo. Anche il generale Patton, che morì poco dopo la guerra, è sepolto qui, come da sua volontà. Da lì, il tour continua al Museo Nazionale di Storia Militare del Lussemburgo. Questo museo è considerato uno dei migliori del Lussemburgo per conoscere la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Successivamente, il tour ti porterà al General Patton Memorial a Ettelbruck, la città che la Terza Armata di Patton liberò il giorno di Natale del 1944. Dirigendoti più a nord, visiterai il "Sentiero della Memoria di Schumanseck", un luogo significativo nella battaglia del Bulge. Educational. Prepare to see a lot of memorials and wreckage from WW2. We could relate to soldiers freezing on Christmas morning. Ken was a fine and knowledgeable guide.
