Fai un viaggio in treno fino a Grindelwald (facoltativo) o continua il tuo viaggio con la nostra auto, circondato da vette imponenti. We have used Viator numerous times and never been disappointed until this trip. We booked months in advance and based on prior reviews expected a driver that would be able to tell us about the area as we traveled between stops. The driver arrived without a knowledge of what our day was to be. We had to tell him where we were going. This is not a knock on the driver he was very nice. But alas he had only lived in the vicinity for 3 months- and was not from Switzerland.. we paid a lot of money too be dropped off with no tips on sights we should see or how to navigate the towns we visited. We would have done more research before we went and possibly chosen a different way to see the Swiss villages. Do better Viator
Our driver and guide Belly was a font of knowledge and a great guy. It was like hanging out with a good friend.
Our drive was Shohan, from the beginning he tried to sell us an extra side trip to Bern for extra money. We told him we only wanted to go to Interlaken Grindlewald and Lauterbrunnen. We had spent many moments years ago in that area. Our main-objective was to revisit the area. Interlaken we were given an hour, our fault we should have stayed for two. We wanted to stop in the Village of Widerswill to visit a hotel that we knew of many years ago and visit what is now a Bakery owned by the same family. We were told it meant extra driving but knew better. Many times were told he was taking us places he shouldn’t go was dropped off not at out hotel but around from it. Loved the trip not the Driver. Will always recommend Viator.
We traveled with Sohan for an entire day and it was amazing. He was a great guide, worked with what we did/did not want and showed us Switzerland in a way we would have never figured out on our own. Our favorite was Murren, at the top of the gondola. Just stunningly beautiful. We greatly appreciate Sohan spending the entire day showing us the beautiful sites of Switzerland. Good, comfy van and an overall great day.
Visited beautiful towns. Driver gave us option to add Bern which we agreed to do. Negative was he charged us a good bit extra for that stop, but it was still within the 10 hour period shown on original excursion. Given that it was still same time frame, just cut other towns shorter in duration, it doesn’t seem right to have to pay all that additional cost.
It was okay, friendly host but he was very clearly upset that children 2 and under did not have to pay. At the end, he send us a message asking for additional money.
This is a great outing! The return traffic into Luzern, however,is crushing. The driver was nice, but just that; a driver, not a guide.

While the scenery was AMAZING, our "tour" left us a little underwhelmed. Our guide barely spoke English and didn't even introduce himself before we all got in the van for the day. He didn't tell us anything about the areas we were in, nor did he offer an explanation of the optional train ride between cities which we would have loved. He also didn't get us to one of the main waterfalls before closing due to his lack of knowledge of the area. Overall, we felt we could have done a better job taking the train and researching the areas on our own which we didn't do purposefully so we could have a knowledgeable guide tell us about the areas. The money was not well spent as all we really received was a private driver.
