Silvia was AMAZING! She accommodated our group from beginning to end. The class, the atmosphere, the ENTIRE experience was perfect.
Very welcoming, friendly and so much fun!!! It a quaint private appartment. Frausto, Mila and Michelle were excellent!
We were very fortunate to have a cooking lesson with Ginevra in her beautiful home in Lucca. She is charming, a talented cook and a patient teacher. We cooked two types of pasta and Tiramisu for dessert, preceded by wonderful Antipasti and different oils to try and enjoy. I cannot recommend her too highly, it was a wonderful few hours spent with an expert and we came away with the feeling of a real Italian experience. I’d do it all again tomorrow if I could. Grazie Mille Ginevra!
Silvia was amazing! Cooking with her instruction was fun, dinner and wine was amazing! We will definitely be replicating our three courses at home… Absolutely hands-down recommend!!!
My husband and I spent a wonderful evening in Silvia's kitchen and had a personalized cooking class. We wanted to learn to make pasta and I had said 'no' to learning about gnocchi. Silvia asked why and I said we always found gnocchi very tough. She taught us to make gnocchi that was so light, delicate, and flavorful we could hardly believe it. The pasta was also wonderful. This cooking class was the highlight of our two-week trip to Italy.
The host, Novella, and the setting for the class, were both lovely. She provided excellent instruction along with the assistance of a delightful translator. We made three fabulous pasta dishes, all from scratch. Enjoying our delicious dinner in her home made for a very special evening.
This class was AMAZING! It was everyone's favorite thing we did on our trip! Monica is such a joy! The class was in her home and she was so authentic and so passionate about Italian food! She has a full kitchen set up outside where we cooked and ate. The weather and setting were quintessential Italy! We all said we would love for her to be our next door neighbor and friend. We made 2 types of pasta and she explained every step, she did a bruschetta, anti pasta tasting and we had 3 different desserts w/wine as well as the 2 pasta dishes. It was a lot of food!! She would pass an ingredient and say smell - what you think...she wanted to know what we thought the ingredient was and how/what did it make us feel. Additional highlight is she met us at her friends artist studio Casa Inverse! We loved her studio full of items she had created and you could tell she was also passionate. It was quaint and beautiful and you could tell there was love behind everything she created. She does calligraphy and gave us all a beautiful name tag. I remarked that I didn't know my name could look that fantastic :) If you want to visit with a real Italian that is passionate about food and Italy spend a day with Monica!
