Questo Active Van Tour è un ottimo modo per vedere il Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone che inizia nella divertente città di West Yellowstone. La parte mattutina del tour esplora i luoghi di ritrovo della fauna selvatica nel famoso Shadow Canyon del fiume Madison. Questa zona ospita orsi e alci. Guida lungo il fiume Madison e osserva la fauna selvatica nelle prime luci del mattino.
Escursione ad un belvedere delle Grand Prismatic Hot Springs. Questa escursione è lungo una vecchia strada di diligenze prima di salire 200 piedi per vedere una delle più grandi sorgenti termali della terra. Arriviamo presto per battere il caldo e la folla. Questo è un must durante la visita di Yellowstone!
Guardiamo Old Faithful eruttare vicino allo storico Old Faithful Inn. Se il tempo lo consente, è possibile esplorare l'Inn o il Visitor Center per saperne di più sul Parco Nazionale di Yellowstone. Old Faithful erutta ogni 90 minuti.
Facciamo una breve sosta al Continental Divide, dove l'acqua sgorga verso il Golfo e l'Oceano Pacifico.
Questo bellissimo bacino geyser lungo le rive del lago Yellowstone ha sorgenti termali, geyser e vasi di fango. Facciamo un percorso sul lungomare per vedere il Cono da Pesca e la Piscina Nera.
Facciamo una breve passeggiata al vulcano di fango e alla bocca del drago. Ascolta il respiro del super vulcano con il potente fango che sgorga e il vapore che fuoriesce.
Ci fermiamo per ammirare la fauna selvatica in una delle valli più iconiche di Yellowstone. Questa valle ospita più orsi che in qualsiasi altra parte del Parco. A volte vediamo lupi, alci e cigni trombettieri lungo il fiume Yellowstone.
Fermati a vedere una vista mozzafiato sui meravigliosi colori e sulle cascate fragorose del Grand Canyon del fiume Yellowstone. Facciamo una breve pausa ad Artist Point per vedere le 308 piedi Lower Falls del fiume Yellowstone.

What a wonderful experience with Parker on this tour through Yellowstone !! Excellent knowledge of the park and all the stops we made. We enjoyed lunch Parker prepared and all the stories he shared! If you are going to take a tour ask for Parker !

Our family of five had an out-of-this-world experience on our 8-hour tour with Max and Gillian. We arrived at our pick-up spot (West Yellowstone Visitor’s Center) at 6:45am and our guides were already there. We used the restrooms and climbed aboard the 12-passenger van, and it turns out, it was just our family! We got so lucky! Max and Gillian were kind and funny and packed with knowledge. Any questions we had were answered, and we learned so much more than we ever expected. Both guides had lots of great stories and were knowledgeable about the animals, park history, and the unique features of Yellowstone. They both have a true passion for the outdoors and the preservation of Yellowstone. They provided coffee, hot chocolate, lots of snacks, and a wonderful lunch. They even had toilet paper when one of the “Class B” toilets didn’t have it…they’re truly prepared! You will be well taken care of by Yellowstone Hiking Guides! Can’t believe all the ground we covered and all of the wildlife we saw in eight hours! Thank you, Max and Gillian!!!
