Questo itinerario è stato progettato per veterani australiani e neozelandesi, i loro parenti, amici e visitatori interessati ai siti di battaglia in cui i soldati di quei paesi combatterono e morirono. L'attenzione si concentrerà sui punti di vista - laddove possibile, portiamo i combattenti del passato insieme in uno spirito di riconciliazione.

Itinerario
Prelievo mattutino in hotel alle 8:00 e trasferimento di oltre 1,5 ore a Long Tan. All'arrivo visiterai il Long Tan Cross Memorial, il sito dell'Horseshoe FSB e i tunnel Long Phuoc.
Long Tân è un villaggio nella provincia di Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, situato a 10°31′ di latitudine N e 107°16′ di longitudine E. Quando faceva parte del Vietnam meridionale separato, si trovava nella provincia di Phước Tuy. È rinomato per le sue piantagioni di gomma e ospita una popolazione molto piccola di circa 1.200 persone. Questo itinerario è pensato per i veterani australiani e neozelandesi, i loro parenti e amici, e per i visitatori interessati ai luoghi di battaglia in cui i soldati di quei paesi combatterono e morirono. L’attenzione sarà concentrata sugli obiettivi e, ove possibile, riuniremo i combattenti del passato in uno spirito di riconciliazione.
Hai tempo per riunirti e ripercorrere uno degli scontri australiani più famosi della guerra del Vietnam: la battaglia di Long Tan (18 agosto 1966). In particolare, il campo di battaglia di Long Tan è diventato il luogo della memoria che ogni anno accoglie numerosi veterani australiani.
Successivamente ti porteremo ai tunnel lunghi di Phuoc, dove potrai dare uno sguardo alle tattiche di guerriglia dall'aspetto primitivo, ma altamente sviluppate, usate dai Viet-Cong per combattere i loro nemici.
Dopo aver gustato il pranzo, incluso in questo viaggio, visiteremo Nui Dat, SAS Hill, un'altra base australiana prima di tornare a Sài Gòn. Ti accompagniamo al tuo hotel o in qualche posto nel Distretto 1 su tua richiesta. Fine del tour.

We arrived far too early, Vinh saw us and gave some advice on coffee and markets to kill some time. Then when we came back offered a cool room cool water and an informative, friendly chat. He was also our tour guide. Very informative and friendly, he knew his stuff, and any extra questions too. The tour was interesting but I recommend finding more time in the war memorial, to see it all would be several hours. If you are booking a tour, request Vinh, the others may be good, he definitely is. Vince.
