Grasse è una città centrale della Costa Azzurra situata a ovest del dipartimento delle Alpi Marittime a 12 km a nord di Cannes sulla costa mediterranea. Grasse è la capitale mondiale del profumo, sostituendo Montpellier la cui Facoltà di Farmacia è stata la fonte della creazione di unguenti e profumi. Scopri i suoi vicoli pavimentati datati dall'epoca medievale e i suoi edifici storici.
Installata dal 1926 in questa magnifica fabbrica, tanneria nel XVIII secolo, è diventata fabbrica di profumeria all'inizio del secolo successivo. Completamente ristrutturata e sublimata nel 2013, offre un percorso originale di scoperta dei misteri della profumeria tradizionale, dal trattamento delle materie prime al confezionamento dei prodotti finiti. Le macchine utilizzate, dalle alambiche in rame a quelle degli atelieri di saponeria, offrono un interesse storico, sociale e culturale sulle tecniche e le condizioni di lavoro che regolano le profumerie familiari fino agli anni '50.
Situato nelle montagne delle Pre Alpi, Gourdon gode di una vista mozzafiato. Approfittate di queste piccole eccupazioni alle specialità locali come la vetreria familiare o la confiteria artigianale.

A fantastic selection. The local wine tasting was fun and we learned a lot about Provencal flavors.The timeline was very simple and gave us enough free time at every stop.
The guide was amazing . We had a good visiting the perfume factory and the médiéval villages of Grasse and Gourdon . We finish by a local vignard very interesting.

Wine, perfume, and fairytale French villages? Say less! 🍷🌸 If you are staying in Nice, you have to book this. It takes you away from the usual tourist spots and deep into the gorgeous Provencal lifestyle. My camera roll is completely full. 10/10 recommendation!

Grasse was a lovely stop where we learned about perfume making. The medieval villages were our favorite part—so quiet, historic, and full of flowers. To finish the day, the local wine tasting was excellent. The wine was high quality and the atmosphere was very peaceful.

Amazing tour begining go end. Billie is a proud local and her love and passion for the region made the tour really special. She's also a very fun person and it felt like you were being shown around by a friend. We especially enjoyed the vineyard tour which was unique and unlike any I had taken before. We also had the best meal of our stay in Gourdon which Billie had reserved in advance. She also provided great recommendations which made our stay better beyond the tour itself. Do yourself a favor and take this tour. If we had longer we would have booked addition tours with Billie and will be recommending it to all our friends and hope to also take ourselves next time we're in the area.

Billie provided my daughter and I with a wonderful trip to Grasse, Gourdon, and a lovely organic, family-owned winery. The region is beautiful, and Billie curated a fantastic experience for us: we had a great day enjoying the sights, scents, tastes, and tactile goods of Southern France. We also loved the balance of learning about the region from Billie and spending some alone-time to explore. I highly recommend this experience!
