An extraordinary day discovering Calle Ocho with Mariela. Learning about Empanadas, Cuban Sandwich, and Mojitos was a delight. Then the history, added a narrative that was priceless. In other words we were not just eating, we were learning.
The tour with Mariela was simply spectacular. What captivated us most was her dedication: it is clear that she prepared thoroughly, researching and reading about the history to explain every place we visited in detail. Her way of conveying Cuban passion in every story makes the experience unique and immerses you completely in the culture. The tour was perfectly organized: we visited iconic sites, the drinks were super refreshing, and the food portions were very generous. Everything was great. We highly recommend it, and if you have the opportunity to coordinate it with Mariela, do not hesitate for a second!

We had a great time with our guide Helena, who took us to several great places and had lots of good stories. I loved especially the infusion of culture and history in the domino park and the bay of pigs monument, and to go to more traditional businesses for juice and pastries. Thanks for the great tour!
