Really tailored to our interests. Appreciated the attention, education and conversation.thank you for the hours you spent with us.
I was the only person. The tour was wonderful. The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. I learned a great deal and recommend highly!
First...do not book this Tour for a Sunday- there were many venues we could not go to because they were closed. The Tour was very quirky and interesting and gave insights to the music scene in Lyon. The best part- was the Wine tasting...and we ended staying at the winery/restaurant for dinner which was so delicious.
This was a very good experience! Our guide, Didac, was very conscientious about the heat and crowds and made sure everyone was as comfortable as possible. He was very knowledgeable about Lyon and his passion for wine and music made the tour even better!
It was a tour that had additional information about Lyon I had not heard on previous tours. I think Didac missed his calling as a weatherman! Our tour started early. Once we were safely in the wine bar, torrential downpour started!
I had the pleasure of joining the Music Tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. Didac’s deep knowledge of both music and the city’s rich history made the tour incredibly engaging. As we explored different locations, we uncovered fascinating stories about the city’s past, all while enjoying thoughtfully curated musical pieces. Dropping by the silk studio was also really fun, adding a unique touch to the journey. It was a wonderful way to learn about the city’s history through the lens of music, blending culture and entertainment seamlessly. The wine recommendations were outstanding, with a special introduction to a delicious orange wine that I had never tried before—it was a delightful discovery! The tour was a perfect blend of culture, education, and enjoyment. A must for anyone who loves music and wants to explore the city in a unique way!
It was a truly hot afternoon and the guide, Didac, called to know if we wanted to delay the start, very kind but we had an Olympic game later that evening. Upon our meeting, Didac was able to shift and do more history than music and we greatly appreciated. Didac is an EXCELLENT guide with soooo much knowledge and ease to all that he did! Highly recommend any tour by him and we will use his again!
Relaxed walking tour with very personable, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Accompanying music enriched experience. Wine tasting was tailored to personal likes as far as they corresponded to local wines. Weather restricted content but overall well worth going on.
Guide was knowledgeable and well prepared. Tour description was misleading. Per description I was led to believe that entrance fees were included to 3 locations that don’t actually charge for admission. A full bottle of wine was included with the tour but there was no food provided or available to have with the wine. When I contacted viator and the tour guide to suggest that the tour wasn’t a good value for what was provided the tour guide responded unprofessionally saying that I got a private tour for the money when in fact it was intended to be a group tour and I was the only person to have signed up for the tour that evening. Response from viator was disappointing as well and I reached out multiple times to multiple representatives. Would not take a tour with this operator again.
Sorry for your bad experiencie but: 1. You were only participant and this isnt not our fault if theres no more pepole. Could be more people but this day was only you so you get a private & customized tour. 2. We did an extended tour cause you were a newcomer on city and WE tried to adjust to your needs. 3.This is a wine tour not food tasting tour. 4. Very unfair to still reclaim a cashback. 5. Stops on tour could b change in function to your needs if you are only participant cause guide will find most adequate for you .
Dirac was very good. He was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fun tour guide. It was raining and he let us use his umbrella. Very kind! Merci.
