I had such an amazing experience on our tour to Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, and Mua Cave, and it was all thanks to An, our wonderful guide! An was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire trip. He shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, and local life. The boat ride in Tam Coc was absolutely breathtaking, and the hike up Mua Cave was totally worth it for the stunning views. HONEST REVIEW: agency "Authentic Ninh Binh" Done on the 12th of February 2026. Day trip. Pick-up at 07:30 from the hotel in Hanoi. The itinerary included: Hoa Lu, bike tour in Trang An, lunch (included in the price) at the Trang An Heritage Garden restaurant (nice food!), boat trip in Trang An, and finally Mua Cave and Dragon Hill, leaving at 16:45. What to know: we chose this trip due to limited time, as it allows you to visit the main sites in a single day. Basically, you may have to choose between Trang An and Tam Coc. Our guide, Chang, spoke very good English, was very knowledgeable about history, gave interesting explanations, and was very kind. The “limousine” van was very comfortable, which helped given the 2–3 hours of driving. The group was small (9 people). Honest to say: it was somewhat unpleasant how Thanh managed the booking. Communication was unclear, and he informed us only one day before (we had booked one week earlier) that the trip had changed from Trang An–Mua Cave–Village–Bich Dong Pagoda to the itinerary described above. In the end, it was not bad at all, but it is not ideal to learn just a few hours before going to sleep that your trip has changed because the group size was no longer considered financially worthwhile. In the end: would reccomend it, it's very heterogeneous and comprehensive. Cannot make any comparison. Accept lot of tourists but well distributed in a large area (low density).

Despite some heavy rain during our boat ride in Trang An, Perry kept the energy high and made the entire journey enjoyable. His insights into the region’s history and culture added so much depth to the experience. We were able to visit Trang An, Tam Coc, Bich Dong Pagoda, and even hike up to Mua Cave—all in one day! It was a packed itinerary, but everything was well-organized . The views from Mua Cave were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere at Bich Dong Pagoda was unforgettable.
