La tua avventura inizia con un prelievo dal porto con una guida turistica amichevole e certificata che parla inglese e con un autista professionista. Questo viaggio promette un'indimenticabile esplorazione della ricca storia di Cipro e dei luoghi mozzafiato, perfetti per coloro che cercano un'esperienza di viaggio elegante e immersiva.
Fasouri Citrus Plantations (Pass By). La piantagione si trova sul lato ovest di Limassol e copre una superficie totale di 1408 acri.
Una breve sosta fotografica all'esterno di questo storico Castello Medievale. Costruito dai crociati nel XIII secolo, questo edificio ben conservato si erge su tre piani ed è un buon esempio di architettura militare di quel periodo.
I resti archeologici di Kourion sono di gran lunga le scoperte storiche più importanti e impressionanti dell'isola. Essendo una delle città-regno più importanti di Cipro dell'antichità, Kourion fu costruita su una collina che domina la costa meridionale e le sue rovine risalgono al periodo romano e all'inizio bizantino. È un must per tutti sull'isola e i resti dell'antica città di Kourion sono forse i più conosciuti e fotografati di Cipro. Prova il test della moneta dal coro e rimarrai stupito! Fai sedere un amico in cima all'anfiteatro e un altro lancia una moneta nell'area del palco. L'acustica al Kourion è così notevole che sentirete il suono della moneta cadere!
È uno dei più grandi villaggi della Krasochoria (villaggi vinicoli). Costruito sul pendio della montagna, tra un tappeto verdeggiante di viti, circondato da montagne che sembrano collocate in un layout magistrale, è uno dei villaggi più pittoreschi di Cipro. La grande piazza del paese, unica per qualità grafica e dimensioni, di fronte al maestoso monastero della Santa Croce (collegato al Passaggio di Sant’Elena a Cipro), il torchio medievale, gli stretti vicoli e le case in pietra tutte “annegate” nel verde conferiscono una bellezza e un fascino particolari al borgo. Inoltre, le stesse case del villaggio presentano un certo interesse per quanto riguarda l'architettura folcloristica, con i tetti o le terrazze in tegole, i pittoreschi piani superiori, i cortili lastricati e fioriti con vasi all'interno, le porte in legno e i portali variamente decorati, i balconi e le stanze allungate sono gli elementi principali.
La degustazione di vini è una delle esperienze consigliate nella zona. Degusterete alcuni vini e anche il famoso vino dei Re, Comandaria. Salute! Salute! Stin ygeiá sas!
Passeggiata accompagnata dalla nostra Guida attraverso il centro storico e il cuore di Limassol dove le sue strette strade radiali conducono fuori dal vecchio porto di pescatori. Per un po' di storia nel centro della città, ci dirigiamo direttamente fuori al Castello Medievale. Non c'è posto migliore per tornare indietro nel tempo del sito dove si dice che Riccardo Cuor di Leone sposò Berengaria di Navarra nel 1191, incoronandola Regina d'Inghilterra. Dopodiché prima di rientrare in porto potrete godervi il vostro tempo libero!!! Un sacco di caffetterie, ristoranti e negozi di souvenir. La tempistica sarà modificata per assicurarci di riportarvi alla nave in tempo.

Raccogliamo solo i viaggiatori in crociera e li riportiamo al Nuovo Porto di Limassol. Il tour è impostato per partire dal Terminal al porto di Limassol, all'esterno vedrete il nostro rappresentante in possesso di un cartello "SPANOS BUSES". Devi presentarti al punto di raccolta 10 minuti prima dell'orario specificato.

Excellent tour with Mary as a guide, provided a lot of information and we had plenty of time at each site and did not feel rushed. Easy to find the tour after the ship docked and we were back in plenty of time before the ship departed. Would highly recommend this tour, bus was clean and airconditioned which was appreciated in this heat.

We had an amazing tour around Limassol, our guide was experienced and charismatic and did a great job of tailoring our experience to our needs and answering our questions. She also gave us some solid pointers on various snacks that we should try at one of the local villages which were absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed the wine tasting, the wine was delicious and experience was fun and enjoyable.

The tour guide and locations to see were good, but I think the tour was too large for the tour. I found that going to the ruins was fascinating, however too short a time to spend at the location. The time spent at the various places was too short in general. I realize the tour needed to go fast enough to return to the ship on time, but I think if the group had been smaller, it would have been easier to get through. Also, maybe one less place would have been more appropriate. The group was also quite rude at the wine tasting. Several were so concerned about getting something free, that they had no regard for others on the tour. A result of a group being too large.

All details regarding the excursion — including the itinerary, duration, locations visited, timing and group size — are clearly described in the tour information provided before booking. Our standard tour duration is 6 hours, however on this occasion we extended it to 7 hours (10:30am-5:30pm) in order to offer participants a more enjoyable and relaxed experience. We also returned about one hour before the ship’s departure, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free return for all guests. As cruise schedules are very strict, the itinerary is carefully planned to allow guests to experience several highlights of the region within always the available timeframe. If the cruise ship had allowed more time for the stay, you can be sure that we would gladly have offered it as well. We always do our best to provide the maximum possible experience for our guests. Nevertheless, we truly appreciate your comments and suggestions, as they help us continue improving our services. We are also sorry to hear that the atmosphere during the wine tasting was not as enjoyable as expected. We went as a 3, mum dad and myself, this was part of a cruise port visit. The tour was fantastic, one of the best we've had. We booked this through Viator. Our tour guide Mary was very informative and spoke excellent English. She had something to say about every single area we went to throughout the whole tour. She was also helpful and considerate to our needs. At each stop she would make sure everyone was off the bus and make sure everyone knew where the WC was. This was super important for my parents wellbeing as they don't have amazing stamina these days. No-one was left behind and there was plenty of time at each stop to take in the sights. Our driver Vasilli was also excellent. He was there at the right location well in time. He gave us a kind exception to eat on the bus (as we had a mix up when trying to get lunch). Though this was a one off kindness. Expect to have lunch off the bus at one of the food places in Omodos. He also provided a water cooler with bottles of water to keep us all hydrated, free of charge. The tour itself was filled cultural and archaeological interest, and was an excellent highlight of some of the history of Cyprus. If you're even remotely interested in these, I'm sure you would enjoy it. There was also the wine tasting venue, some lovely wines, and we had plenty to try, with added information from the host. The wine is very reasonably priced if you wanted to buy your own after the taster! Finally it is worth saying we were dropped off with plenty of time to spare before the cruise ship left again. There was no panic and no fuss throughout. Thankyou again Mary & Vasilli!
