Durante questo tour di circa 3 ore e mezza, passeggeremo attraverso luoghi emblematici come Plaza San Martín, il Mercato Centrale e la tradizionale Cinese. I viaggiatori scopriranno ingredienti locali, assaggeranno piatti tipici peruviani e si godranno una degustazione del famoso Pisco Sour. Passeggiando per le vie storiche come Jirón de la Unión, la guida ci racconterà aneddoti sulla cultura, la gastronomia e la storia della città. Itinerario
Il tour inizia presso lo storico Gran Hotel Bolívar, situato in Plaza San Martín. In questa sezione, la guida fornirà una breve introduzione sulla storia del centro di Lima e sulla gastronomia peruviana, prima di dare inizio all'esperienza gastronomica.
Passeggia lungo la via più tradizionale del centro, tra storia e gastronomia.
Visiteremo la storica Chiesa e il Convento di La Merced, uno dei templi più importanti del centro storico di Lima. Mentre percorreremo il tradizionale Jirón de la Unión, la guida illustrerà brevemente la storia del luogo e la sua importanza durante l'epoca coloniale.
Visiteremo il famoso Mercato Centrale di Lima, dove i viaggiatori potranno scoprire ingredienti tradizionali peruviani, frutti esotici e numerose bancarelle di cibo locale. Qui potrete assaggiare alcuni sapori tipici della cucina peruviana.

Juan Diego was our tour guide. Had a really enjoyable food tour. Juan gave a a great history lesson of the area, he was very knowledgable and inciteful. Food was very tasty, definitely worth the money.
I had a great time on this food tour with JD. We tried some amazing local food and visited places I would never have found by myself. Everything felt very authentic, and I learned a lot about Lima and Peruvian culture. Definitely recommend it!

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was a great way to get to know Peruvian gastronomy while walking through the historic centre of Lima. We tried various typical dishes and drinks, and each stop had something interesting to discover. I especially liked the fact of visiting local places and not just the most tourist points. Everything was well organized, the pace was calm and the experience seemed very authentic. I recommend to those who want to know the Peruvian culture through the Food.

It was a really nice and authentic experience. We went to the historic center and Chinatown and the local market where they selling fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. We have tasted some typical food such as choclo con queso, ceviche, papá rellena and picarones. Diego also explained as the places we went and the history behind them. It was a very nice experience and we had a lot of fun.

I absolutely loved this food tour! The fruit tasting was something I didn’t expect and it ended up being my favorite part. I tried many new fruits, all fresh and delicious food. The guide was very friendly and explained everything really well. Definitely a unique experience and highly recommended.
