Tour per piccoli gruppi con max 8 persone solo in inglese. Dopo aver guidato da Barranco e Miraflores, il tour inizia da Plaza San Martín, una porta storica del centro della città. Visiteremo l'imponente chiesa di San Francisco e le sue famose catacombe, offrendo uno sguardo sul passato coloniale di Lima. Quindi, goditi un churro criollo in un popolare locale, un assaggio del patrimonio culinario della città. Successivamente, esploreremo la Plaza de Armas, ammirando l'esterno del Palazzo del Governo, la Cattedrale di Lima e il Convento di Santo Domingo prima di tornare indietro. Raggiungendo Miraflores, passeremo anche da Huaca Pucllana, un antico sito pre-incaico in mezzo alla città moderna. Il tour si concluderà al panoramico Malecón di Miraflores, con una splendida vista sull'oceano dal Parque del Amor noto per la sua atmosfera romantica e le bellissime sculture ispirate al Parco Güell di Barcellona. Plaza San Martín è una grande piazza storica nel centro di Lima, inaugurata nel 1921 per celebrare l’indipendenza del Perù. Al suo centro si erge una statua in bronzo del generale José de San Martín. Circondata da eleganti edifici neoclassici, come il Gran Hotel Bolívar, la piazza è un vivace centro che fonde il fascino coloniale con l'architettura dei primi del XX secolo, rendendola un punto di riferimento chiave di Lima.
Il Convento di San Francisco è un esempio lampante di architettura barocca coloniale a Lima, noto per la sua facciata decorata e la ricca storia. All'interno, il convento ospita una vasta biblioteca e imponenti opere d'arte religiosa. La sua caratteristica più famosa sono le catacombe sotterranee, un tempo utilizzate come luogo di sepoltura. Queste catacombe contengono i resti di circa 25.000 persone, rendendole uno sguardo unico e inquietante sul passato di Lima, offrendo ai visitatori un affascinante viaggio nel patrimonio coloniale e religioso della città.

La piazza principale della capitale del Perù, sede della Cattedrale di Lima e del Palazzo del Governo, e del vicino Convento di Santo Domingo.
Passeremo da Huaca Pucllana, un antico sito archeologico pre-Inca situato nel cuore della moderna Lima. Costruito intorno al 500 d.C. dalla cultura di Lima, è costituito da una grande piramide di adobe fatta di piccoli mattoni fatti a mano. Il sito fungeva da importante centro cerimoniale e amministrativo. Oggi, Huaca Pucllana offre un contrasto unico tra la storia antica e il paesaggio urbano circostante, fornendo informazioni sulle prime civiltà che un tempo prosperavano lungo la costa centrale del Perù.
Il Parque del Amor, o Parco dell'Amore, è un punto panoramico di Miraflores che si affaccia sull'Oceano Pacifico. Conosciuto per i suoi vivaci mosaici e sculture romantiche, tra cui l'iconica statua *El Beso* (Il bacio) di Víctor Delfín, il parco è una destinazione popolare per le coppie. Le sue pareti curve, ornate da piastrelle colorate e citazioni a tema amoroso, creano un'atmosfera stravagante. La posizione sulla scogliera del parco offre una splendida vista sull'oceano, rendendolo un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi la costa di Lima.

Very practical meeting point in Miraflores from where the operator takes you on a 3h30 tour around the Hsitoric Center and Mireflores. The guide Valeria was super nice and the tour well designed. Highly recommend! Oh and there's churros!

David was excellent. Very knowledgeable and personable. First time in Peru. Great introduction to Lima and very much appreciated. He even bought us churros, which were wonderful and not like the ones we’ve had in the US. His driver was also excellent in navigating the insanity of Lima traffic. The drivers in Peru make those in Italy and Albania seem like Sunday drivers in the US.
