Lungo la strada, ascolterai fatti interessanti sui molti punti di interesse della zona, come la valle di Nahr El-Khab e la statua in cima alla collina di Cristo Re. Jeita Grotto, finalista del concorso per le nuove sette meraviglie del mondo, è un incredibile sistema di grotte nella roccia calcarea della catena montuosa del Monte Libano, composto da due enormi caverne separate. Ammira le migliaia di stalattiti e stalagmiti e fai una breve gita in barca sul lago che copre il pavimento della grotta inferiore.
Harissa, la signora del Libano dove puoi scegliere di prendere la funivia fino all'imponente statua di 8,5 metri. Sali alla base della statua che torreggia in alto sopra la città per goderti le viste mozzafiato sulla costa e sul mare.
Byblos, l'antica città del mondo è una città con una storia che risale ad almeno settemila anni! Qui visiterai il castello crociato del XII secolo, che una volta fu catturato dallo stesso Saladino. Avrai anche il tempo di visitare il vecchio suk e le chiese medievali costruite dai crociati.

I would very highly recommend Citysightseeing Lebanon as a tour company, and this specific trip - as probably their most popular and definitely my favorite of ones I experienced. It's a must for seeing the beauty of Lebanon beyond the urban grit of Beirut. The guides we had at Jeita Grotto and the Byblos ruins were excellent as was our driver for the day who made extra stops along the way to see things that were not on the listed itinerary. I also greatly appreciated their were only 3 of us on the tour. Consider eating a large breakfast or bring snacks. Lunch was not until 2pm but nice selections with what we had.

We were in Lebanon in August 2023. We used the Citysightseeing agency for the Lebanon tour. We had a great time. Exceptional Italian guide (Bassam Mehri), lunch always at the top, excellent choice of places to visit. Avoid the red bus with the group (except for the tour of Beirut in which case it is worth it) and prefer the solution with the personal driver (or in small groups) because the difference is really huge. Everyone who works in this agency has demonstrated maximum availability towards us and passion for their work. Recommended

An excellent trip with excellent guides. A bit to hot in regards to the weather but nothing the organizer can do. The food/lunch was very good also and located in a really nice spot

The trip to Jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos was fantastic. The transport was there before the scheduled time with water and biscuits provided. The driver was great and the tour guide (Carla) was so passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of her country. All the locations were great, entrance fees were taken care of and the Lebanese lunch at Byblos was a real highlight! I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough and was the perfect way to see more of this beautiful country. Many thanks to Carla and the driver (Michel?) for their hospitality 😊
