It was a superb experience, the Chefs were excellent and their instructions were easy to understand and concise. You did not need to be an experienced baker to take this class. They shared the history surrounding the Pastel de Nata tarts. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with my husband. 100% recommend.

The pastel de nata workshop was well organized and fun to join! The guidance from the chef was very good, making the workshop easy for beginners to follow. We had a very nice afternoon, highly recommended. The pastels worked out well!

The class lasts 2 hours. The teacher was really nice. It was really good experience. At the end you can taste your pastel and you have the recipe by email.
I have booked on the Viator site and this has been confirmed. On the day of the course, an overbooking was reported by the organizer and it was jointly agreed to cancel the course and the money will be refunded to us. Unfortunately, the organizer did not get in touch and apparently did not care. It took me a week to get the official confirmation that we would eventually get the money back. Even now after another week and a half I have not received a refund and the organizer does not react to our messages. We will not book here again and will not recommend.
Hello Jesse, you are more than right to complain about this situation. We did process the refund through the booking management platform we work with, and there it said it was fully refunded. After your complaint, I asked them for proof of the refund and just realized it showed it was done, but in fact, it was not, as it must be processed directly on the Viator platform. We apologize and are grateful for your feedback, as we learned from this, since it was our first time with a situation like this. Beatriz was great! She explained everything very well. There was 4 of us and she had all us participating in the preparation. Can’t wait to try this at home. It was delicious and my husband enjoyed it as much as I did.

Beatriz was a great teacher and made learning how to make the traditional Pastel de Nata dessert fun. We ended up being the only people who signed up for the class that day, so we enjoyed the more personalized experience we had as well.

Enjoy an afternoon cooking the special natas and the detail that is put into these little treats. Much better tasting than eating the ones you can purchase at any of the bakeries found in Lisbon.

Yum!!! Great fun, learned from a truly creative baker. She managed to be sure no one hung back, suggested the original bakery for Nata in Belem (and it was amazing, except for ours). Fun way to spend a few hours
