Lezione di cucina con una "Mamma" locale a Soriano, cittadina vicino a Viterbo

We had the best time in this cooking class! The class was small and intimate. We got to learn how to cook multiple things and refer back to it often, including stories the "mammas" taught us. The class was a few hours long, with a few breaks in between, great wine to drink throughout and located in a really cool old cave.

This was absolutely the BEST part of our 2 week vacation to Italy. We were in Rome for the first 4 days, 7 days in Soriano at Palazzo Resort, and 2 more days in Rome at the end. Nothing compares to the memories made in Soriano with Katia, Marika and mama Carla! Truly an Italian Familia experience we will never forget!! Cooking with them for the afternoon was something my sister and our husbands will cherish forever. They are the most beautiful people you will ever meet! We learned so much about Italian cooking, the history of Soriano as they are from there, and much more! We will be back. Please book this cooking afternoon with these beautiful ladies, the food is delicious and the memories are priceless! You will not regret!

The entire experience was fabulous! We were with 2 other couples. It was as if we were having lunch with family. The food was excellent and something we can make at home. We were all excited to share with our families back home! The town was beautiful! Parking was a bit of a challenge. Thankfully one of the couples knew where to go and personally helped me find the parking location!

We spent five incredible hours on a cooking and cave tour in Soriano nel Cimino,and it truly became the highlight of our entire trip. Our hosts, Katia and her daughter, welcomed us into their beautiful kitchen cave and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We learned to make gnocchi, saltimbocca and tiramisu - each step hands-on, fun and filled with laughter. The food was delicious, the setting was magical and the hospitality was beyond anything we expected. This was a unique, heartfelt and memorable experience worth every cent. If you’re looking for something authentic and special, don’t hesitate to- this is it!

This cooking class was one of my favorite activities during our 3-week trip through Italy. Carla and Katia were great teachers and walked us through making gnocchi from scratch, Saltimbocca steak, and Tiramisu. All delicious recipes we will make again! The kitchen is nestled in a cave and adds to the old world atmosphere. Such a fun activity! I highly recommend!

We were speechless! The cooking class was a real success, Carla & Katia were warm, welcomed us with open arms and had a lot of humor. We went back to the hotel not only with the recipes & the chef's apron, but also with lots of information & stories about Soriano (incl. full belly & satisfied faces). The experience was authentic and absolutely delicious! There were drinks after every taste, price/performance was great. Recommendation: Bring a big hunger! We were allowed to take the remains of the gnocci with us, fantastic! Grazie!♥️

This started as a class but ended feeling like family! This experience was so warm and wonderful and welcoming! Our family of 5 learned how to cook from scratch from our "mamma" Carla. It was hosted in the cave belonging to Katia's family which was rich with history. The food was delicious and filling. I would love to take more classes with them!

This tour enriched our vacation to Italy dramatically. We love to cook, and we appreciate a good meal, so it was wonderful to learn authentic Italian cooking techniques from two wonderful local ladies and in an amazing environment! So organized, fun and high-quality! We have already recommended this tour to friends who will travel to Italy in the coming months. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience!! The family that hosted us was fabulous. There was lots of learning, laughter, smiles and joy!!! We would all do this again!!

Everything about this class was magical. I’ve wanted to visit Italy and experience cooking with a local for years. This dream came true with Katina and her daughters. My daughters, granddaughters, and I had the most fun! We left this time together with recipes of what we cooked, full bellies, great pictures, and an apron to use at home to help us bring back these precious memories!
