A+ performance. Too hot in the church though.

Great performance. The soloist, Soichi Ichikawa, was super charming. My only complaint is the venue. It was a beautiful church with great acoustics. However, it was extremely hot and became suffocating once the door was closed and the performance went on. One of my family member was feeling faint and ill during the performance. I know europe does not have the infrastructure for modern air conditioning but it would have been helpful to at least install fans for ventilation with the doors open for the days when the temperature climbs over 90 -100 degrees during the day time trapping heat within. I don't think i will attend an event at this venue again during summer time.

A great find

It was a gem- intimate performance in an old church with amazing acoustics. And it was affordable. The only downside was the group of teens from a school who were unsupervised and were disrespectful to the performers.

Out of this world!

The experience left us spellbound. The ambience, atmosphere and the sheer magnitude of the emotions we went through while attending this concert was truly one of a kind, and left us with a lasting memory. This was our first violin concert in an old Roman church, will repeat this as much as we can.

Great Musicians No air conditioning.

Excellent musicians! Awful uncomfortable temperature. No air conditioning or fans. Beautiful church. It just have been 25c in the church. Couldn't wait to leave.

Memorable concert

A beautiful setting in which to enjoy glorious works by Vivaldi and Bach. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the lesser known but beautiful St Paul's Within the Walls Anglican church.

Soichi Ichikawa and the esemble brings Vivaldi to a new level

St. Paul's Within the Walls is a beautiful church. Before the start, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sculptures in the garden for a moment. Redeeming the ticket went smoothly. Precisely at 8:30 PM, the performance began. First, an organ performance which immediately took us into his interpretation of Bach. Then an ensemble begins, but it is only when the principal violinist Soichi Ichikawa plays with them that we enter another dimension. The music is stunning and so clear. Brilliant evening- exceptionally talented musicians We were so enchanted by the Vivaldi performance that we forgot we were in a beautiful church. So absorbed in the musical event. The intensity and love for music was played here. A well-deserved standing ovation. Soichi Ichikawa is realy an exceptionally talented musician.
