Esplorare i luoghi iconici e il cuore culturale della costa orientale dell'isola. Il tuo tour privato inizia con un comodo pick-up dal tuo hotel in un comodo veicolo con aria condizionata. La nostra prima destinazione è il leggendario Tempio di Lempuyang, noto come "Le porte del cielo". Da lì, il viaggio verso il sereno Tirta Gangga Water Garden, un ex palazzo reale rinomato per la sua splendida miscela di architettura Balinese e Cinese. La nostra esplorazione continua a Taman Ujung Sukasada, un palazzo sull'acqua splendidamente disposto. Per il pranzo, potrete gustare un pasto autentico in un ristorante-basta informare il vostro autista della vostra preferenza. Dopo pranzo, ci dirigeremo verso l'incontaminata Virgin Beach, una gemma nascosta con una bellissima distesa di sabbia bianca e acque turchesi chiare. La nostra ultima tappa culturale è l'antico Tenganan Village, uno dei villaggi tradizionali più antichi di Bali, dove sono conservate usanze uniche. Dopo una giornata di incredibili viste, vi assicureremo un comodo ritorno al vostro hotel.

Itinerario
Si ritiene che il tempio di Lempuyang sia antecedente alla maggior parte dei templi indù dell'isola. Sicuramente un punto culminante in qualsiasi itinerario di viaggio per gli avventurosi e in forma, il tempio principale si trova a 1.175 m sul livello del mare, sulla cima dell'omonimo Monte Lempuyang a East Bali. Le altezze sono raggiungibili tramite una ripida scalinata di oltre 1.700 gradini, con attrazioni lungo il percorso tra cui molti altri templi e orde di macachi grigi dalla coda lunga che abitano le fresche foreste montane circostanti.
Il Tirta Gangga Water Palace è uno dei luoghi di interesse più famosi di Bali progettato e costruito nel 1948 da Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887-1966), che fu l'ultimo re di Karangasem. A dir poco era un uomo straordinario, non solo perché era l'architetto dei giardini acquatici, ma anche perché aiutava nella costruzione dei giardini.
Taman Ujung Sukasada è uno dei luoghi di interesse più famosi di Bali, situato nel villaggio di Seraya nella reggenza di Karangasem, è il sito gemello di Tirta Gangga, anch'esso costruito dalla fine raja di Karangasem. Il complesso è costituito da varie grandi piscine e strutture storiche sullo sfondo del Monte Agung e della costa orientale. Il sito è stato quasi devastato dalle docce di cenere calda a seguito dell'eruzione del vicino Monte Agung nel 1963 e ha anche resistito a un terremoto nel 1979. Gli sforzi di restauro nel corso dei decenni hanno lasciato il posto al suo attuale splendore e continua a fare appello sia alla gente del posto che ai visitatori.
Virgin Beach, White Sand Beach, Pantai Pasir Putih e Bias Putih sono tutti nomi per la stessa bella distesa di sabbia bianca (ish) a breve distanza da Candi Dasa, che di per sé non ha una vera spiaggia di cui parlare. Lo chiamiamo Virgin Beach, in quanto è quello che c'è sul nuovo segno ufficiale di sculacciata eretto quando abbiamo visitato all'inizio del 2016 - salva confusione, in quanto esiste almeno un Pantai Pasir Putih (White Sand Beach) su ogni isola dell'Indonesia. Inoltre, il bianco è un termine improprio e le vergini sono disponibili in una gamma di colori più ampia.
Il villaggio di Tenganan è affascinante e ha alcuni festival tradizionali autentici molto affascinanti (danze rituali e gladiatori) come Bali Aga di Tenganan che spesso tiene la battaglia tra i giovani locali. La gente di Tenganan è esperta nella tecnica unica della tessitura, chiamata doppio ikat, in cui la credenza nel potere magico del tessuto è essenziale per far risaltare la bellezza del tessuto ikat.

My wife and I had an incredible day trip to Gates of Heaven with Raj, which ended up being one of our favorite days during our honeymoon in Bali! While the Gates of Heaven were the highlighted activity for the tour, it also included stops to Virgin Beach and a local village, which we unfortunately had to decline visiting due to time constraints on our part. However, we more than got our money's worth for what we did get to partake in. Heaven's Gate was just as amazing to see in person. Although there was a long wait to take pictures in front of heaven's gate, there was luckily plenty to do in the area while we passed the time. During that time we were able to take pictures with the swings on top of the hill, stroll around the area, and had a great lunch at a nearby restaurant with a lovely mountain view (the lunch was included in the tour). That portion alone would've been worth the price of admission for the activity. But we also visited Virgin Beach, which surprisingly had few crowds and calm waves, making it a perfect beach day to relax. We spent a couple of hours there before heading back to our hotel. As for Raj, he was the best driver we had in Bali! I say driver, but he also performed duties that could easily be counted as tour/local guide. He was friendly, courteous, and professional, providing us with a smooth ride between stops, fun conversation, patiently waited as we experienced the activities, and giving us local insight into Balinese culture. He even went and got various fruits to try. Raj truly made an already amazing day trip feel even more special and we were glad to have him as our driver that day!

We had a great time with our driver Agung on this trip. We got to see a lot and he was very good at telling us about the different places. We are very happy and would definitely recommend this trip, but would also recommend having Agung as a driver.
