Il nostro tour di 6 ore sul lago Mývatn, sulle sorgenti termali e sulle cascate Godafoss da Akureyri è la perfetta introduzione al nord dell'Islanda. Visita il Lago Mývatn, una regione il cui paesaggio è stato scolpito migliaia di anni di attività vulcanica. Ammira i crateri di Skútustaðir, le formazioni laviche di Dimmuborgir, una splendida cascata e molto altro ancora. Un delizioso pasto al sacco è incluso nel biglietto del tour.

La nostra prima tappa della giornata è alla cascata di Góðafoss, un luogo bellissimo con una grande importanza simbolica per gli islandesi

Passeggia sui sentieri attraverso questo campo di lava che presenta incredibili formazioni rocciose formate in antiche eruzioni
Conosciuta anche come Hverir, Námaskard è una regione vulcanica con vasi di fango bollente e l'odore di vapore sulfureo emana dalla terra. I minerali nell'acqua hanno aggiunto un colore arrugginito alle rocce e al terreno qui.

Really enjoyed the tour the guide was knowledgeable and often rambled on about interesting facts about the local culture which was good. The only disappointing thing was that it was marked as easy and it really was not… my wife struggled walking to a couple of places and could not manage one waterfall at all. It is not suitable for anyone that cannot walk for 15 minutes over rocky and undulating terrain. The coach is quite cramped for an 8 hour trip, could really do with a coach with more room
Opportunity to see unique locations up close and can’t find elsewhere. Up close encounter of waterfalls
The hot springs & lava formation were not worth seeing but Godafoss waterfall was worth it. However, Robert and Tanya ( driver snd guide) were excellent!
This is one of our best tour in Iceland.
So beautiful. The waterfall is a must see! Our guide Lili offered a lot of incite about the area and Iceland. The spot we stop at and walked the lava fields was incredible. The area had great walking paths and some chances to explore deeper into caves or climb small hills for great views.
Good trip but not long enough at the waterfall and the lunch stop was a waste of time as no toilets. We could have had the sandwich at the next stop where there was more to see.
Our tour guide Lili was great. The tour was enjoyable. There can be quite a bit of flies at one stop so bring a covering for your face. The hot springs do have a strong sulfur smell. The lunch provided was a water bottle and a chicken sandwich with honey mustard. It was kept in the bottom of the bus in refrigerated so it did not meet our standards to eat. Also they stopped at a place that smelled like sulfur to eat so that was not very appetizing. It was easy to find the bus after getting off our cruise ship. Close to the port. Overall a great tour.
It was a lot of fun. The o my problem we had was that they should have counted everyone before they started the hike on the path. They left some of us behind and my cousin couldn’t make the hike and got stuck because it was too hard for her. They did not ask if anybody had difficulties and should have taken an easier path. The rest of the tour was fantastic
Good tour but disappointed with only meat sandwiches for lunch. I'm sure I was asked for allergy etc.
Very well organised professional they were waiting for us as specified location and time highly recommend this company
